Dark War Survival Update Notes (October 2026): Every Big Change

For Dark War Survival players who missed the patch notes, and leaders who need the short version for alliance chat. Checked October 31, 2026.

Short answer: The biggest Dark War Survival changes in September and October 2026: the Armor Workshop that unlocks T11 Heavy Armor Troops, two new pets (Asterion and Eclipse), the Dominion Arena, a bigger Military Center unit cap, the Nightmare Carnival Halloween event, and the Battle Shop closing with Battle Badges turned into Honor Points at a 1:5 ratio.

Dark War: Survival posts update notices most Fridays, and features roll out by server bracket. Servers 1 to 88 usually get things first, higher servers a week or more later.

Here are the changes from September and October 2026 that matter, grouped by what they affect. Server brackets are shown as the notes posted them.

Troops and buildings

T11 is the headline. Our T11 troops guide covers unlock rules and what creators report about costs.

Heroes, pets and squads

• New pets (Oct 16, servers 1 to 588): S-Rank Asterion (Clear the Way, boosts marching troops' damage) and A-Rank Eclipse (Scout's Intuition, boosts marching troops' defense), through the new Agent Battle Pass. See our pets guide.
• Dominion Arena (servers 633 to 680): 3 squads against 3 squads, rotating weekly with the Storm Arena.
• Battle display (Sep 4, servers 293 to 686): clearer troop avatars in big battles, and floating text now shows Unit Casualties instead of Troop HP Lost.

Shops and currencies

• Battle Shop closure (Oct 30, servers 1 to 290): the old Battle Shop closes. Unredeemed Battle Badges become Honor Points at a 1:5 ratio.
• Allied Power had already become a Season Celebration event earlier this year, paying Celeb Coins.
• Fishing Pier (Oct 30, servers 1 to 88): the Ship of Theseus Watchtower skin needs fewer fragments for permanent unlock, and new colors each add stat bonuses.

Events

Moonlit Fairytale items expired on September 28 and 29. Event items usually expire soon after the event ends, so use them in time. Our events guide covers the recurring ones.

Season and quality of life

• Ragnarok calendar: official calendar posts covered weeks 5 to 8, ending with the Supreme Temple Battle and settlement week. See our Ragnarok guide.
• Chat (Oct 16, all servers): Group Chat tab in Private Chat, pinned chats, and auto-saved drafts.
• APC movement (Sep 11, all servers): smoother turning and clearer names on the world map.
• Alliance Duel (Sep 25, all servers): cleaner event screen layout.

What to expect next

Based on how past features rolled out, the Armor Workshop and Asterion and Eclipse should reach higher server brackets over the next weeks. The notes also show more arena and Fishing Pier changes landing first on some brackets. Check the official notes every Friday, and our posts once a month. If your server is in a higher bracket, the features above are your preview of what is coming, so you can save resources before they land.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• T11 is where spend goes next. The Armor Workshop runs on Precision Parts and Hammers. If you plan to spend this month, that is where it moves Power most.
• Check your Battle Badges. On servers 1 to 290 they convert at a 1:5 ratio after the October 30 update. If your server has not updated yet, check the Battle Shop first in case something you need is still there.
• Recharge Mania is a milestone event. If you were going to top up anyway, do it inside the event window so the same spend also counts toward its milestones.
• Leaders: post the T11 start date for your server and the Battle Shop change in alliance chat. See the alliance leader page.
