For Dark War Survival R4s and R5s heading into Ragnarok, and spenders who want to time their buys. Checked October 31, 2026.
Short answer: Ragnarok (Origin Lands II) is the Dark War Survival conquest season where eight god camps fight over the Supreme Temple. Each god picks a strong alliance to lead its camp. It adds Invasion, brings back Enemy Buster Day, the Trade Post and the Ancient Throne War, and runs about eight weeks, ending with the Supreme Temple Battle and settlement week.

Dark War: Survival calls this season Conquest Season: Ragnarok, also posted as Origin Lands II: Ragnarok. The story: the World Serpent Jörmungandr is devouring the Supreme Temple, and eight gods call their Einherjar warriors to fight for their camps.
Season numbers differ between sources and servers, so this guide uses the in-game name. Here is what the official notes say and how to plan for it.
How Ragnarok works
| Feature | What it is |
|---|---|
| Eight-camp warfare | Each of the eight gods picks a powerful alliance to lead its camp. New opponents every week |
| Origin Lands: All Stars | Strong alliances from several states are summoned for bigger competition and rewards |
| Invasion | Expeditions into enemy camps to destroy Fortresses for rewards |
| Returning events | Enemy Buster Day, the Trade Post and the Ancient Throne War (formerly Capital Clash), all revamped |
| Supreme Temple | The main objective. The Supreme Temple Battle comes in the last weeks |
| Mithril | Season resource, with sources shown in the Camp Conquest screen |
Temple Contest timing
| Step | Game time |
|---|---|
| Temple area teleport window opens | 10:00 |
| Temple Contest starts | 12:00 |
Before July 31, 2026 the teleport window opened at 00:00. It now opens at 10:00, so plan moves for that window.
Rules worth knowing
- Immortal Priest: when one appears it is protected for a while, and only the camp that found it can rally it during that time.
- Origin Merchant Guild: shelters inside the War Penalty Zone cannot be targeted by rally attacks.
- Camp spawn areas: the Rules screen explains where each camp spawns. Read it before you teleport.
- Trade Shop: exclusive Title items were added to all Trade Shop levels in September.
The eight-week flow
The official events calendar posts cover the season in two-week blocks:
| Weeks | Focus (official calendar posts) |
|---|---|
| 1 and 2 | Key unlocks, territory conquests and Kill Events |
| 3 and 4 | Territory pushes and more Kill Events |
| 5 and 6 | The fiercest conflicts: Kill Events, big territory grabs, key objectives |
| 7 and 8 | Finale: the Supreme Temple Battle, then settlement week |
Exact days change by server, and the notes say schedules can change. Use the in-game calendar for your dates.
Alliance rules players report
These come from players in the official Discord, not the patch notes:
- On star and elite maps, players report you cannot move to another alliance for the season. You can stay, go tagless, or leave and rejoin the same alliance.
- On joint maps, players report you can only switch to an alliance in your own camp.
If you lead, confirm this in game before you let members drop tags.
Leader checklist before the season starts
- Read the camp spawn rules in the Rules screen and agree where the alliance gathers.
- Set a fixed time each Temple Contest day for the 10:00 teleport, with a backup caller.
- Name rally leads for Invasion and for Immortal Priest windows.
- Plan who holds healing and speed-ups for weeks 5 to 8.
- Agree the rule for tags: nobody drops tags without asking an R4 first.
Share the checklist in alliance chat a few days before your server enters the season, and pin it. Members who know the plan on day one are the ones who show up at 10:00.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Weeks 5 to 8 decide the season. Kill Events and the Supreme Temple Battle come late. Keep healing items, speed-ups and a top-up balance ready for those weeks rather than spending it all in week one.
- Timing beats size. With teleport at 10:00 and the contest at 12:00, an alliance that moves together in that window beats a stronger one that arrives late.
- Leaders: lock your roster before the season. If the reported alliance lock is right, the members you start with are the members you finish with. Our alliance leader guide and the alliance leader page help.
