How to Top Up Police Chief (2026)

What Police Chief players buy

Police Chief is a police strategy game on iOS and Android. You build up your precinct, recruit heroes and play with an alliance. The App Store lists Standard Packs from $0.99 to $99.99. Many packs include Diamonds together with hero fragments, gear materials and speed-ups. You can get some of this through play, but it is thin next to what upgrades cost.

Competitive accounts put their packs into the same few things:

1. Heroes and hero fragments. Fragments are how heroes get stronger. Finish one priority hero before you spread fragments across many. A hero you finish is worth more than two you leave half built.
2. Hero Equipment and the Forge. Gear upgrades are a big part of hero power, and the materials go fast.
3. Chief's Office and your queues. The Chief's Office gates the rest of the precinct. The official newbie guide calls the second build queue the best value in the game.
4. Passes. The Intel Monthly Pass and the Weekly Benefit Pass give rewards over time, so they add up across a season.

• Alliance Mobilization. Entry needs 15 alliance members and Chief's Office level 10, and eligibility locks before the event opens. Do not buy packs just to finish a "Spend Diamonds" task, because it pays very few points.
• Gear packs. Since the October 19 update (version 0.1.98), Hero Equipment Forge levels are split into tiers. Price the next tier before you buy Forge materials.
• Electro packs. The Electro Aggregator now merges basic resources into Electro Cores. Check it on your account before you pay for a pack mainly for its cores.
• Leaders: post the buying plan a few days before Capitol War, so members load credits ahead and do not buy mid-fight. See the alliance leader page.
