Police Chief Electro Era Guide: Level 5, Electro Cores and the Aggregator (October 2026)

For Police Chief players who want to know what the October 2026 updates changed, and for alliance leaders planning the next weeks. Checked October 31 2026.

Short answer: The October 16 2026 update raised the Electro Level cap to 5 and added a new Electro Building. The Electro Aggregator unlocks after time in the Electro Era and merges basic resources into Electro Cores. Later patches added a Neighboring States leaderboard and a short Halloween Parade event.

Police Chief shipped several changes in the last two weeks of October. The official notes confirm what changed but not every number, so check your own screen before you spend.

Electro Era: Level 5, the new building and Electro Cores

On Oct 16 2026 the official Police Chief Discord announced three changes to the Electro Era:

• The Electro Level cap is now 5.
• There is a new Electro Building.
• The Electro Aggregator unlocks after you have spent some time in the Electro Era. It merges basic resources into Electro Cores.

The notes do not give the unlock time, the merge ratio or the cost of the new building. Open the building in your precinct to read the exact numbers for your account. Do not plan a big purchase around a number you have not seen on your own screen.

How to think about Electro Cores

Electro Cores are made from basic resources. That tells you the main use of the Aggregator: it turns resources you already collect into a different material. So the first question is whether your resource income is steady. If you are short on basic resources, a core merge will not fix that. Neighboring States leaderboard

The Oct 22 patch added a Neighboring States leaderboard to Rankings, with no downtime. The App Store notes for version 0.1.120 say it is available from Day 7 after a server launches. It lets your state compare itself with the states next to it. State leaders can use it to recruit: a visible rank gives new players a reason to join.

The App Store notes list these:

• Chief Badges can be upgraded in stages from Level 4. The cost per level is unchanged.
• PD Teleports are easier to use when you pick a location.
• The Alliance Training spectator screen scrolls correctly.
• Alliance Mobilization task status shows correctly after you log in.

The last fix matters for alliances that run the event.

Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Jack (time-bound)

The Halloween Parade ran on Oct 29 and 30 2026. The event was built around a jailbreak by Pumpkin Jack. You deploy officers, gather clues and hunt fugitives. As of Oct 31 it has ended, so you cannot join it now. We list it so you know the publisher runs short themed events, and that the Discord is where they are announced first.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• Read the numbers first. Check the Electro Building and the Aggregator on your own account before you buy anything for them.
• Keep resource income steady. Cores come from basic resources. A leader who tells the alliance to stockpile basics before the Aggregator opens saves everyone time.
• Use Neighboring States to recruit. If your state ranks well, post it in the state chat. Players pick a state that shows up on a leaderboard.
• Spread Chief Badge upgrades. From Level 4, version 0.1.120 lets Chief Badges upgrade in stages at the same cost per level. You can feed a badge as materials come in instead of saving for one big jump. Our top-up guide covers packs.
