Short answer: Season 7 is called Return to the Golden Realm. The official Discord previews a new Combat Plan system, new Alliance Skills, an upgraded Desert Storm and the return of Goldust Conquest and Global Expedition. The pre-season starts November 9 2026 on servers 3 to 164. Hero Awakening comes back with Carlie, McGregor and Murphy.
Season 7 is not live yet, so a lot is still unconfirmed. This guide separates what the official Last War Discord has said from what community previews report, and it tells you what to do with your Gold Bricks and your alliance before the pre-season opens.
What is confirmed for Season 7
The official Last War Discord posted a Season 7 preview on October 22 2026. It names the season "Return to the Golden Realm" and lists four things.
- New Alliance Skills. The skills you know from Season 6 return, with new ones added.
- A Combat Plan system. A new way to prepare and trigger effects in battle.
- An upgraded Desert Storm battlefield.
- Goldust Conquest and Global Expedition return.
The full preview is on the official Last War wiki. The Discord players are already asking about the new base and the date of the Desert Storm changes. Neither has an official answer yet.

Check your own server in the game. Season dates move by server group, and the November 9 date comes from a community guide, not from the Discord.
What community previews add
The cpt-hedge Season 7 first look goes deeper. It is a fan guide and calls its details preliminary, so treat the list below as likely, not final. It also names the season "Return to the Golden Empire", which looks like a translation difference.
- The 8-warzone combined map is dropped. Seasons 5 and 6 used it. The stated goal is that every alliance member has a meaningful role.
- Combat Plans come in three groups: Development, Support and Attack. They combine with tactics cards and alliance skills.

| Sandworm Bomb | Planted on your base or an ally's base. If nobody removes it before the countdown ends, it deals heavy durability damage to nearby enemy bases. Knocking away or teleporting the base removes it. A hit base is briefly immune to more bomb damage. |

| Mummy Army | Troops lost while attacking can come back as projections near the target. Projections from different members merge and rally the building after a short time, with reduced stats. |
Desert Storm changes
- A Rescue System. Healing teammates' wounded troops gives battlefield points.
- A Battlefield Achievement System.
- Faster garrison marches.
- Smoother deployment and a reworked screen.

Hero Awakening
The same guide lists Carlie (Aircraft), McGregor (Missile) and Murphy (Tank) as the Season 7 Awakenings. The order it lists them in is not the release order, and no timing is confirmed. The base skin buff is also unknown.
For spenders and alliance leaders
Nothing here is a reason to rush. The pre-season is where you can still see what is real. Here is a simple plan.
- Do not buy seasonal resource packs in the last weeks of Season 6. Buildings and skills are removed at season end. Read the Season 6 end guide before you spend anything seasonal.

- Hold some budget for the Awakenings. If Awakening works like Season 6, the first weeks are when shard packs matter most. Read the packs worth buying list and the Gold Bricks guide so you know what stays worth it.
- Leaders: name the roles early. With a map built so every member has a job, ask your R4s now who will own Combat Plans and who will run Desert Storm healing. Post it in alliance chat before the pre-season.

One more thing to watch: the Discord players are split on whether Desert Storm or Canyon Storm will be the main battlefield. If you plan alliance time, wait for the real schedule before you change your week.
