For players deciding where their Gold Bricks go in Last War Season 6, from free accounts to big monthly budgets. Checked October 2026.
Short answer: Spend Gold Bricks on the second builder (200) first, then the Kim pack (100) and the Season Battle Pass (2,000). Use the 500 brick Mall Weekly Pass on your bottleneck item, and buy event items only up to a milestone. Free players should skip weekly deals, Diamonds and hero passes. Taylor past 1 star (1,500) is for big budgets.
Gold Bricks are the premium currency in Last War, and most of the store is priced to look better than it is. Below are the real costs of the buys that matter, then a plan for each spend level, then the free routes to more bricks.
Gold Brick costs that matter
All costs come from cpt-hedge's best buys guide (July 2026).
| Buy | Gold Bricks | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Second builder | 200 | Two building queues for the rest of the account |
| Kim pack | 100 | Worth it early, while it is offered |
| Mall Weekly Pass | 500 | Pick Armament Core, Drone Components or Drone Parts, whichever you lack |
| Weekly Pass | 500 | Best in Week 1 of a season, maybe the last week. Skip the weeks between |
| Event buys | About 500 | Ammo Bonanza, Glittering Market and similar. Buy only to the next milestone |
| Second Tech Center | 1,000 | Only before the Age of Oil, which gives a free third Tech Center |
| Season Battle Pass | 2,000 | Good value across a full season |
| Taylor, unlock | 500 | VIP 1 package, 10 shards |
| Taylor, 1 star | 1,500 total | VIP 1 and VIP 2 packages |
| Taylor, 4 stars | 14,500 total | VIP 1, 3, 4 and 7 packages |
| Transfer tickets | 500 for 25, 1,000 for 50 | Only if you plan a server move. One move takes 50 tickets |

What to skip
cpt-hedge tells free players to skip these, and we agree for light spenders too:
- Weekly deals. cpt-hedge says they are priced too high for what you get.
- Diamonds. Also on cpt-hedge's skip list for free players.
- Hero battle passes. Skip unless that hero is in your main squad and you spend every month.
- Exclusive Weapon passes. Those weapons show up free in the Black Market after each season.
- Event items past a milestone. Value drops fast once you pass the reward you were aiming for.
Plan by spend level
The free plan follows cpt-hedge. The other three are our view, built on the same costs.
Free players
- Save for the second builder (200), then the Kim pack (100) if it is still offered.
- Take the Mall Weekly Pass (500) in weeks when Drone Parts or Armament Cores are what slow you down.
- Hold the rest for the Season Battle Pass (2,000) at the start of the next season.
- Use event buys only to finish a milestone you are already close to.
Light spenders
Do the free list first. cpt-hedge's advice for this group is simple: put free bricks into packs and items you were going to buy anyway. Add the Weekly Pass in Week 1 of each season, and Taylor to 1 star (1,500 total) once the core buys are done.
Regular spenders
Everything above, every season, without gaps. If you are still before the Age of Oil, the second Tech Center (1,000) pays back through every research timer. Plan event buys around the scoring windows your alliance cares about, so the same bricks help you and the alliance.
Big spenders
Taylor to 4 stars (14,500 total) is where cpt-hedge draws the line: great at 4 stars, but only for accounts further along with bricks to spare. 5 stars costs far more shards for a small gain, so stop at 4. If you are moving server, budget 1,000 bricks for 50 transfer tickets before the window opens, minus the 3 free tickets a week from the alliance store.
Free routes to more value
The official Last War ID site is the main free route. Activating your Reward Card and logging in gives a one-time 1,000 ID Points. Weekly in-game tasks, like logging in on 2 days or donating to Alliance Tech 50 times, give 50 ID Points each. Points can take up to 24 hours to show.
ID Points buy items in a weekly store. In April 2026 cpt-hedge listed UR Hero Universal Shards at 40 points, chests and Drone Parts at 20, and 1 hour speed-ups at 10, each with a weekly limit.
The ID site has also run registration events that pay Gold Bricks. The 2,000 brick event ended on October 26 2026. Others may still be running for your server, so open Profile, then Account, then the Last War ID Reward Center to see what you can claim. cpt-hedge keeps a list of free Gold Brick events. Gift codes are the other free route: see how to redeem Last War codes.
For spenders and R4/R5 leaders
- Buy in order, not on impulse. Builder, Battle Pass, Mall Weekly Pass, then event buys. A common waste is event buys made past the milestone.
- Time the Weekly Pass. Week 1 of a season is the best week. Skip the middle weeks.
- Plan server moves early. Transfer Surge opens in Week 8. Collect the 3 free tickets each week and buy the rest before Prep Day.
- Leaders: post the skip list in alliance chat. New members often burn bricks on weekly deals.
- Before you top up: check which VIP levels matter in our VIP guide. VIP points stay with the account.
