For R4s and R5s running an alliance through Last War Season 6, and for the spenders who carry the fights. Checked October 2026.
Short answer: Season 6 runs 8 weeks on the Shadow Rainforest map, Deepwood against Wetland. Weeks 1 to 3 are growth: War Merit, City Clash and the Kimberly and DVA Awakenings. Weeks 4 to 7 are the fights: Outposts, three Sanctuary Duels and the Faction Duel. Week 8 pays out by Influence Points. Plan rosters a week ahead.
Most Season 6 guides list what opens. Leaders need something else: what to ask the alliance to do, and when. This plan goes week by week, then covers what members should hit and what spenders should hold back for each window.
Season 6 at a glance
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Map | Shadow Rainforest: 8 Warzones and 1 Central Area |
| Factions | Deepwood and Wetland, 4 Warzones each. The Great River Clan is neutral in the center |
| Length | 8 weeks |
| Core systems | War Merit, Fishing, Faction Technology |
| Awakened heroes | Kimberly (Week 1), DVA (Week 3), Tesla (Week 5 or 6, by server) |
Your Warzone keeps its faction for the whole season. The Faction Leader picks it for each group of four Warzones during pre-season Faction Selection.
Before Day 1
- Keep one builder free. The first seasonal building levels cost no Diamonds, but later levels need build time.
- Switch to Engineer with a profession token if you want lower building costs. It also applies to seasonal buildings.
- Hold the Doom Walker first kill until the season update. Each one gives 200,000 Rainforest Mushrooms.
- Keep Hero's Return tickets from last season for Day 1, and start saving regular recruitment tickets for Exclusive Weapon shards.
Week by week plan for R4 and R5
| Week | What opens | What leaders do |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Faction War Ranks, Purge Action (9 days), Fishing Grounds Stronghold Clash (14 days), City Clash levels 1 and 2, Kimberly Awakening, Global Expedition round 1 from Day 4 | Get everyone to Fungus Institute 4 for the War Merit Shop. Name city targets. Push Kimberly |
| 2 | City Clash levels 3 and 4, Trade Posts, Sanctuary opens Sunday, Braz to 5 Stars | Agree who goes for Governor seats. Map the routes to the Sanctuary |
| 3 | DVA Awakening, Global Expedition round 2, Braz UR promotion, Altar Conquest every Tuesday | Set a fixed Tuesday Altar roster |
| 4 | Trade Posts second cycle, first Outpost placement and construction | Agree the Outpost spot with your President. Push construction |
| 5 | Tesla Awakening (Week 5 or 6), Global Expedition round 3, Sanctuary Duel 1 (Saturday), Outpost Conquest 1 | Saturday roster, Outpost defense |
| 6 | Sanctuary Duel 2, Outpost Conquest 2, Trade Posts final cycle, Awakening Swap | Review what worked in Duel 1 |
| 7 | Sanctuary Duel 3, Outpost Conquest 3, Faction Duel | Strategic Area plan Monday to Saturday, battle Sunday |
| 8 | Rewards by Alliance Influence Points, season settlement | Remind members to spend seasonal items |
Trade Posts take 10 Governors per Warzone, picked by War Merit ranking, and reopen every 2 weeks. So the members with the most War Merit get the seats. Tell your top players that early. The later weeks get their own guide, because that is where the season is decided.
What every member should hit
Faction War Ranks run on total War Merit, from Day 1. Ranks up to Elite III use fixed thresholds and cannot be lost. Each rank gives a Daily Stipend of Drone Parts, Diamonds and speed-ups.
| Rank | War Merit needed | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Vanguard I | 58,000 | Virus Resistance bonus starts at 250 |
| Hunter I | 211,000 | Virus Resistance bonus rises to 500 |
| Elite I | 546,000 | Settlement reward includes 10 Gear Blueprints (MR) |
| Bloodguard to Chieftain | Top 100, 60, 30, 10 in your Warzone | Damage Reduction bonus, but you can lose these ranks |
Elite I is the target to give your active members. Spending War Merit in the shop does not lower your leaderboard total, so members should not sit on it.
For spenders and R4/R5 leaders
Season 6 rewards timing more than size. The same Bricks bought in the wrong week do less.
- Claim the free rewards first. Link your account on Last War ID: 1,000 ID Points on activation and 50 per weekly task.
- Season Pass in Week 1. Advanced costs 1,000 Bricks and Premium 2,000 Bricks. Both let you claim objectives twice, so buying late wastes the early weeks.
- Weekly Pass early. It costs 500 Bricks and adds an extra Spore Factory, which pays most when bought early.
- Shard money by Awakening week. Kimberly in Week 1, DVA in Week 3, Tesla in Week 5 or 6. The Tesla expedition round is the last chance for expedition shards this season.
- Hold troops for Weeks 5 to 7. The Saturday Sanctuary Duels and the Faction Duel are where losses happen and Influence Points move.
- Do not buy seasonal resource packs in Week 8. Leftovers convert badly: 1,000 Spore becomes 10 Profession EXP.
What to tell the alliance: one short post each Monday. What opens, who is on the roster, what to hold. Leaders who post the week ahead get fewer mistakes than leaders who react on the day. For the longer view on running people, see our Last War alliance guide and our page for alliance leaders.
