Evony KOS: What to Do When a Top Alliance Hunts Your Server (2026)

For Evony players and leaders on a server where one alliance attacks everyone. Checked October 31, 2026.

Short answer: If a top alliance puts your Evony server on KOS (kill on sight), stop feeding kills. Keep a shield up, keep troops out of reach, move your Keep away from their territory and join the alliance that can protect you. Use the quiet time to grow, then decide if staying, moving or quitting the fight makes sense.

In late October 2026, players in Evony's official Discord described the same story: one top alliance hitting everyone, low spenders pushed off the game, and in one post, "40 people quit" over being KOS. Newer players asked where to go when their server was "ruined by the number one alliance".

You cannot stop a stronger alliance from attacking. You can stop them from getting anything out of it. Here is how.

Step 1: stop feeding kills

KOS works because targets give kill points. Take that away:

• Shield when you go offline, sleep or go to work. Keep a stock of shields from events and gift codes.
• Never leave troops gathering near the hunting alliance.
• Do not attack back with a weaker march out of anger. Revenge hits feed them more.
• If you get zeroed, do not rebuild troops in the open. Train behind a shield.

Players who become boring targets get left alone fast. Keep a short list of who attacked you and when. If you later talk to their leader, facts work better than anger.

Step 2: move your Keep

Distance helps. Use teleporters to move away from the strong alliance's territory and close to your own alliance. Evony's official FAQ notes you can use an Advanced City Teleporter, or about 2,000 gems, to move back onto the map. Keep a few teleporters for emergencies.

During Server War, the rules change. The onechilledgamer Server War guide says you need Keep level 7+ to teleport across, and each player gets 4 server teleport items per war.

Step 3: pick the right alliance

A small alliance that cannot defend you is a target list. On a KOS server, the safest place is often inside or allied with the strongest alliance that will take you, or with the main rival that can push back.

Talk to their leaders. Many top alliances accept active players who follow rules, even if they do not spend much. Ask what they expect: event participation, Server War attendance, no attacking allies.

What not to do

• Do not leave a big pile of resources unprotected. It invites more hits.
• Do not trash-talk in world chat. It keeps you on the list.
• Do not buy account sales from Discord posts to "get strong fast". Evony's official Discord bans account trading, and account sales are a common scam.
• Do not quit in the first week. Many hunts fade once the next Server War or event starts.

If you think about changing server

Some players ask when a new server opens or where to move. We could not verify Evony's current server transfer rules, so check the in-game options and the official FAQ before you plan a move. Moving alone rarely fixes the problem. Moving with a group that already has a place in a strong alliance usually does.

Step 4: grow while it is quiet

For spenders and alliance leaders

Leaders carry most of the weight on a KOS server. What works:

1. Make one clear rule: shield when offline, no solo gathering in their zone, no revenge hits.
2. Talk before you fight: a short message to the hunting alliance's leader can end a KOS. Many just want to protect their area or event points.
3. Group the alliance: move Keeps close together so reinforcements arrive fast.
4. Pick your fights: defend only where buffs and numbers are on your side. Read Evony buffs explained to see why in-city buffs matter on defense.
5. Merge if needed: two half-empty alliances are weaker than one full one.

For spenders: do not spend in panic to "win back" a fight you cannot win this week. Spend on things that last: research, walls, generals for the job you do. Time spending around Server War and holiday events, when packs are biggest. Our spending plan by budget helps.
