Evony Spending Plan by Budget: 100, 1,000 and 5,000 USD a Month (October 2026)

For Evony players who spend every month, and leaders who get asked "what should I buy?" Checked October 2026.

Short answer: For Evony, split your month into three buckets: a fixed base, event packs you pick ahead of time, and a small reserve. Our view: about 100 USD a month covers the base and one event pack, 1,000 USD adds roster support for big battles, and 5,000 USD or more needs a goal set with your alliance first.

Most players spend in bursts. They see an event, panic, and buy something. A plan fixes that. This one is our own view, built on real store prices, and it is meant to be changed to fit you.

We could not confirm the current October event packs. So the plan below uses the packs that stay in the store all the time, and tells you to check the event screen for the rest. A caution first: a plan is only as good as the pack contents, so read them every time.

What the store sells

The App Store listing (version 5.37.0) shows these packs. Pink Gems are called Gems in the store.

The last column is our own math. The first pack gives fewer Gems per dollar than the other three, and the larger packs all sit at about the same rate. So there is no reason to wait for the biggest pack to get a better rate. Buy the size you need.

The Evony Guide Wiki, last edited in 2023, says the Super Value Activity Package needs 120 activity points and can be bought once a day. That is old, so check the pack screen in game.

How to read a pack before you buy

Open the pack and list what is inside. Count only the items you would buy anyway, such as Gems, speed-ups or fragments for a general you use. Ignore the rest. If the useful part is less than half of the pack, pick a plain Gems pack instead.

Our plan: 100 USD a month

• Base (about 15 USD): the Rally Monthly Card at 9.99 and the Super Value Activity Package at 4.99, if the contents suit you.
• One event pack (about 40 USD): choose one event a month and fund it. SvS or Battle of Constantinople are good picks because both are alliance events, so your spend helps more people.
• Reserve (about 45 USD): do not spend it until day 20. If nothing needs it, carry it over.

Our plan: 1,000 USD a month

• Base (about 50 USD): the same base as above, plus a 2,500 or 5,000 Gems pack when you need to finish a build.
• Event support (about 500 USD): split across the two big events of the month. Read our SvS guide and Battle of Constantinople guide to see where the money lands.
• General goal (about 250 USD): one Historic General pack path, if you have a general in mind. See Historic General packs.
• Reserve (about 200 USD): for a surprise event.

Our plan: 5,000 USD a month and up

At this level, the question is not what to buy but what to aim at. Set one goal for the quarter with your alliance, such as a league target or a roster strength target, and fund it in steps. Do not buy every event pack. Buy the ones that move the goal.

• Hold a reserve of at least a fifth of the month.
• Write down the goal, the date and the amount, so you can look back and see what worked.
• Talk with your leader before big buys, so the whole alliance moves in the same direction.

For spenders and alliance leaders

What to buy, or save, before the next event. Rule one: pick the event, then the pack. If your alliance has BoC on Saturday, buy troops and healing for the registered players on Thursday. If SvS opens Monday, buy Friday or earlier. A pack bought during an event helps for fewer hours.

What to tell the alliance. If members ask what to buy, point them to this plan and say: "free rewards first, then one goal, then the reserve." Never tell a member how much to spend. Our is Evony pay to win post gives an honest view you can share.

Timing. Check the pack contents screen every time. Event packs change. The contents you remember from last month may not be the contents on your screen today.
