Evony Pink Gems (where to buy & how to spend them)

July 2, 2026

In Evony: The King's Return, Pink Gems are the premium currency that powers every significant account decision. General cultivation, gear refinement, VIP progression, Shrine offerings, Talent resets, additional building queues — every system that compounds over a season either costs Pink Gems directly or is unlocked by spending them.

This guide covers three things: what Pink Gems actually are and how they work in Evony, which uses produce the most durable account value, and where serious accounts buy them without absorbing the full in-app store price.

Note

If you already know what Pink Gems are and just want to know where to buy them more efficiently, Packsify top up your account at better rates. Same gems, official channels, more per dollar.

What are Pink Gems in Evony: The King's Return?

In Evony, Pink Gems are the account's primary premium currency. They are used directly across nearly every progression system in the game: purchasing packs from the in-game store, making Shrine offerings, cultivating Generals, refining equipment, purchasing VIP time, resetting Monarch Talents, and acquiring additional building queue slots among others.

Pink Gems are acquired through in-game purchases, earned in small amounts through events and daily activities, and accumulated through some pack contents. For competitive accounts spending $500 to $5,000+ per month, Pink Gems are effectively the account's operating budget: how many gems are in the account when each event window opens determines what is possible during that window.

Pink Gems are distinct from resources (food, wood, stone, iron, gold) which are earned through gathering and production. They are also distinct from Alliance Points, Prestige, and Monarch EXP, which are progression currencies specific to their own systems. Pink Gems are the only currency that purchases items directly from the in-game store.

How to spend Pink Gems in Evony (the priority framework)

Every Pink Gem spend in Evony is either an investment that compounds across the account's lifetime or a convenience purchase that produces a one-time output. The accounts that pull ahead at similar spend levels are almost always the ones spending more heavily in the compounding category and less in the convenience category.

General cultivation and Specialties (the highest-compounding gem use)

In Evony, General cultivation uses Pink Gems and gold to raise a General's base attributes (Attack, Leadership, Defense, Politics) toward the stat cap. Every point of cultivation on a primary combat General applies to every engagement that General ever participates in, permanently. Specialty upgrades, funded through fragments and refinement materials that often require Pink Gem investment to acquire at scale, deliver percentage buffs to troop-type-specific attack, defense, and HP that stack on top of gear and research.

The compounding math is direct: a fully cultivated and fully specialized General produces more output from the same troops and gear than an underdeveloped General at the same troop tier. The investment made in week four of a season still pays returns in month eight. No other Pink Gem use in Evony produces this duration of return.

The discipline rule: concentrate cultivation on one primary General per troop type before spreading to secondary Generals. A partially cultivated main General with an underdeveloped assistant is one of the most common Pink Gem allocation mistakes in Evony. The assistant's Specialties contribute meaningfully to total march output, but only after the main's cultivation is complete enough to justify the assistant investment.

For the specific General investment sequence by troop type, the Evony PvP generals guide covers the full framework.

Gear refinement (permanent PvP power with no diminishing returns at early tiers)

Gear refinement in Evony uses Pink Gems and refining stones to lock high-value stat rolls on equipment. Unlike cultivation, which increases a General's base stats linearly, refinement can produce large percentage swings in troop attack, defense, or HP depending on which stats roll and which are locked.

The compounding property is the same as cultivation: a locked refine on a piece of end-game gear applies to every engagement using that General for the rest of the server. Early refines on gear that gets replaced are wasted. The correct sequence is to identify the gear set appropriate to the account's primary troop type and combat role (mounted, ground, or ranged), acquire that set fully, and then commit refinement resources to it.

Do not refine starter or mid-tier gear sets with Pink Gems. The opportunity cost of refining Champion or early Forge gear is the same gems not spent on a top-tier set that will be held for years. For accounts that are still building toward end-game gear, hold refining stones and gems until the correct set is in hand.

Shrine offerings (dual output from a single gem spend)

Every Shrine offering in Evony costs Pink Gems (or Tributes) and produces both Prestige and Monarch EXP simultaneously. This dual output makes the daily Shrine cadence one of the highest-efficiency recurring Pink Gem uses in the game, since the same spend produces two progression outputs rather than one.

The optimal cadence is 6 Gem offerings per day. Gem offering costs escalate with each daily offering and the cost-per-output efficiency drops steeply after the 6th. Tributes (sourced from the Relic Chamber, Alliance Shop, and Black Market) replace Gem offerings at one-to-one value regardless of how many Gem offerings have already been made that day, making Tribune sourcing and batching one of the most important supporting disciplines for accounts that want to maximize Shrine value without proportionally escalating Pink Gem spend.

VIP time and VIP level (permanent passive infrastructure)

Pink Gems fund VIP progression through two paths: VIP time items (which activate the account's VIP buffs for a set duration) and VIP point bundles (which raise the VIP level itself). Both are infrastructure investments rather than event-specific ones: a construction speed buff active at VIP 8 applies to every single building upgrade from that point forward, permanently, without further Pink Gem spend.

The spending discipline here is keeping VIP time active consistently rather than letting it lapse between purchases. A VIP 14 account with lapsed VIP time is getting none of its VIP buffs. For the full VIP investment framework including which levels produce the most meaningful unlocks, the Evony VIP guide covers the complete sequence.

Monarch Talent resets (low cost, high leverage when timed correctly)

Resetting the Monarch Talent tree costs Pink Gems each time. For accounts that maintain two saved Talent builds (a growth-phase build and a PvP-phase build), most day-to-day activities are covered without resets. The high-leverage moments for a reset are: switching from the growth build into a PvP build as the account transitions into competitive server play, and temporarily activating the Offering Talent before a large Tribute batch session for maximum Prestige and Monarch EXP output.

Where to buy Pink Gems in Evony: The King's Return

Most Evony players buy Pink Gems through the in-game store directly. That path works. It is also the most expensive path, because every in-game purchase at standard App Store or Google Play pricing absorbs platform fees, regional pricing structures, and transaction overhead before any value reaches the account.

Packsify routes Pink Gem purchases through official channels in a more efficient way than buying solo.

The mechanic is simple: Packsify purchases Evony bundles through official App Store and Google Play rails on your behalf, then credits the Pink Gems directly to your account. Nothing changes about how Evony sees your purchases. You are still buying official bundles through official payment channels. The only difference is that your monthly budget produces more Pink Gems per dollar spent.

Same Gems, more per dollar.

Packsify recharges your Evony account with the same Pink Gems the in-game store delivers, in a more efficient way than buying solo. 5+ years of operating history and zero bans behind it.

5+ year track record Zero bans Real human support Official channels

This matters specifically for accounts spending at serious levels ($500 to $5,000+ per month), because the Pink Gem efficiency gap compounds across every pack decision in the monthly budget. More gems per dollar means more General cultivation per month, more gear refinement per event cycle, more VIP point accumulation per season. The same monthly spend produces a materially different account over six months depending on whether it ran through the in-game store at full retail or through a more efficient routing.
