Top Lords is a medieval fantasy 4X game with swipe runner battles, a griffin and a fief and vassal system. Top War is a modern military 4X built on merging units. Last War is a zombie survival 4X. All three share base building, heroes and alliances, but the theme, the core hook and the war layer are different.

What feels familiar in Top Lords
- Base building with a main building gate. In Top Lords that is the Castle, and most features unlock at Castle levels.
- Heroes and squads. You build a five-hero squad with a front row and a back row.
- Alliances at the center. Alliance tech, rallies, a weekly themed Alliance Duel and alliance events.
- Server against server. Kingdom Duel groups kingdoms and ends each week with an attack on the enemy Capital.
What is new in Top Lords
- Swipe runner battles. You steer your army through gates, dodge or charge, and grow it before the fight.
- Three factions. Tribe, Ranger and Legion. Same-faction squads get faction buffs, so faction matters a lot when you build a squad.
- Historical heroes. Joan of Arc, Saladin, Cleopatra, Mulan, Ragnar and more, with new UR heroes unlocking by server day.
- The griffin. A beast you level with Beast Meat and Beast Cores to expand your territory. See our Top Lords griffin guide.
- Fiefs and vassals. You appoint lords and knights who collect taxes and govern in your name.
- Kingdom Laws. Brands, Wanted status and public records of violations, enforced by kingdom leaders.
- Capital Siege rules. Only alliances that hold a level 6 city can contest the Capital.

- You like history and fantasy: Top Lords.
- You like merging and modern armies: Top War.
- You like zombie survival themes: Last War.
If you mostly play for the alliance and the server wars, all three give you that. Pick the theme you will still enjoy after six months.
How spending compares
All three games sell packs and premium currency through the in-game store. In Top Lords the premium currency is Gems, packs run from 0.99 to 99.99, and there is a 24.99 Monthly Pass. Top Lords also rewards buying inside paid event windows, and it has an official web store at store.toplords.com, where gift codes are redeemed. Switching to Top Lords: five tips
- Do not copy your old hero logic. Factions and front-row tanks matter a lot here. Start with our Top Lords tier list.
- Learn the weekly loop first. Alliance Duel, Kingdom Duel and Wanted bosses run on a set rhythm. Our events calendar lays it out.
- Join an active alliance early. Many events need 20 or more members.
- Read the Kingdom Laws of your server before attacking outside a war.
- Check store prices. In the Top Lords store a pack costs the same number in every currency, for example 99.99. If you pay in euros, that is often better than in other games.
