Your griffin in Top Lords is the beast you use to expand your territory and climb toward the throne. You level it by feeding it Beast Meat, and advanced levels also cost Beast Cores. Getting from level 1 to 10 takes about 19,575 Beast Meat and 60 Beast Cores, so plan your materials before you spend them.

What the griffin does in Top Lords
The game itself describes the griffin as the beast you command to expand your territory and rise through the ranks. In your town it has its own building, the Griffin Tower. Each upgrade gives the griffin new strength, so read what an upgrade gives before you spend rare materials on it.
How griffin leveling works
- Normal levels are reached by feeding Beast Meat, step by step.
- Advanced levels have five sublevels each and also need Beast Cores.
- Level range: community planners go up to level 500.

Where to get Beast Meat and Beast Cores
- Griffin Battle Pass: 20 levels that you climb with daily tasks. Rewards include 1K and 10K Beast Meat stacks and Beast Cores.
- Daily tasks and events: beast items show up as rewards and as point sources. Day 1 of Alliance Duel, Intel Training, counts beast items.
- Beast Hunt: you use Hunting Arrows to take down beasts in the forest for rewards.
- The store: check pack contents in the in-game store. If a pack lists Beast Cores, that is one more source.
Griffin upgrade priority
- Push the griffin early and keep pushing it. Top players on live servers say it adds a good punch, so it is worth leveling from the start and later on too. Keep your Castle and main squad moving alongside it.
- Feed Beast Meat steadily. Meat is the common material, so normal levels are easy to keep moving.
- Hoard Beast Cores for advanced levels. Cores are the bottleneck. Only spend them when an advanced level is the next step.
- Time your feeding. If an event counts beast items, like Alliance Duel day 1, feed then.
Common griffin mistakes
- Spending Beast Cores on a step you could not finish anyway.
- Letting the Griffin Battle Pass end with levels you could have reached.
- Feeding on a quiet day when the same materials would score in an event tomorrow.
Is the Griffin Battle Pass worth it?
For most players who log in every day, yes. The pass is climbed with daily tasks you do anyway, and it is one of the few places that hands out Beast Cores on a schedule. If you skip days, you skip levels, so it only pays if you play daily. Before you spend anything on it, count how many levels you can still reach before it ends.
A quick griffin checklist
- Check the next upgrade on the Griffin Tower and what it gives.
- Count your Beast Meat and Beast Cores against that step.
- Look at the event list: is anything counting beast items today?
- If Cores are short, keep the griffin growing: feed Meat on normal levels until you have the Cores for the next advanced step.
