"How to get wood" is one of the most searched Top Lords questions, because Wood runs out first for most players. The fix is usually not one big source but five small ones running at the same time.

How to get more Wood and Food in Top Lords
1. Keep production buildings upgraded
Farms and lumber production make resources while you are offline. Early research into resource production and gathering speed pays back for months.
2. Gather on the map
Send squads out whenever they are idle. Higher-level resource nodes give more per trip, and gathering research raises the speed. Recall gatherers before your protection runs out.
3. Raid with a plan
Plundering can pay well, but check what you can actually carry home before you march. A raid that loses troops for little loot is a loss.
4. Hunt resource monsters
The world map has resource soldiers, like Wood, Food and Coins soldiers, that drop resources when you beat them.
5. Claim chests from events and passes
- Miracle Spin rewards Wood, Food and Coin chests tied to your level.
- Training Pass gives Ore, Pig Iron and an SSR Resource Choice Chest.
- Research Battle Pass includes a UR Resource Choice Chest.
- Moonstone Blessing, a paid event, includes Ore.
Resource Choice Chests let you pick the resource. Save them for whatever is short when you hit a wall, usually Wood.
6. Use your alliance
Alliance gifts, help on timers and alliance events all add resources. An active alliance is worth more than a high-power one that never logs in.
Stop losing what you have
- Turn on a shield before you log off if you are carrying a lot.
- Stay under your storage limits so production does not stall.
- Spend big piles on upgrades instead of letting them sit as a target.
What about worker tokens?
Many players search for Top Lords worker tokens. The special workers we could confirm are two UR castle workers: Hathaway, the Chamberlain, who adds extra chests from Intel Tasks, and Derian, the Master-at-Arms, who adds Hero attack and march size. Each is recruited with 10 of their own shards and upgraded through 26 ranks, 585 shards in total to max. Once recruited, you station them at the Castle for the bonus. Names and costs can change with updates, so check the worker screen in game.
Sometimes it is time, not wood
