For Police Chief players who want every recent change in one place, and for leaders who need to brief their alliance. Checked October 31, 2026.
Short answer: The last Police Chief updates raised the Electro Level cap to 5, added the Electro Aggregator, split Hero Equipment Forge levels into tiers, made Chief Badges upgradable in stages from level 4, and added a Neighboring States leaderboard. Earlier fall patches brought three new heroes and changed how shields work when you reinforce.

Police Chief updates often, and the patch notes are short. This page lists every update from the last six weeks, in order, with what each change means for your account. Version numbers and dates come from the App Store version history and the official Discord.
Version 0.1.120 (late October 2026)
- Neighboring States leaderboard. A new ranking that compares your state with nearby states, from Day 7 after a server launches. It went live without downtime.
- Chief Badges can now be upgraded in stages from level 4.
- PD Teleports were improved.
- Fixed: Alliance Training spectator list scrolling and the Alliance Mobilization task status display.
What it means: Chief Badges now level in smaller steps, so you can plan badge spending more evenly. The leaderboard helps leaders see which neighbouring states are growing before SvS.
Version 0.1.98 (October 19, 2026)
- Electro Level cap raised to 5.
- Electro Aggregator, a new building that merges basic resources into Electro Cores. It arrived in States 1 to 28 first.
- Hero Equipment Forge levels are now split into tiers.
- Push notifications were improved.
What it means: Electro Cores were the bottleneck for many players in the Electro Era. The Aggregator turns spare basic resources into cores, so stop throwing extra resources away. Our Electro Era guide covers the full system.
Version 0.1.68 (September 29, 2026)
- Spectate for Alliance Training.
- Shield change: reinforcing neutral buildings now turns off your shield.
- A two-second countdown when you disband a rally.
- Bug fixes.
What it means: tell every member about the shield change. Players who reinforce a held building while expecting to stay shielded lose troops.
Version 0.1.47 (September 20, 2026)
- Interstate Reassignment Event, a way to move between states.
- Oktoberfest limited event.
- New heroes: Marcus, Lexie and Duke.
- Scheduled Alliance Announcements can now be edited.
Events and codes this week
- Halloween Parade. A short event on October 29 and 30: Pumpkin Jack breaks out of jail, and you deploy officers, gather clues and hunt fugitives.
- Web Shop events. The official web shop ran an emoji giveaway for three web purchases and a weekly sign-in reward (a one-hour speed-up) from October 26 to November 1.
- Weekly code. TRICKORCHIEF runs from October 30 to November 5. Redeem it on the Redeem Hub from Chief's Office level 7. See our codes page for the full list.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Chief Badges. Staged upgrades from level 4 mean smaller, steadier costs. Spread badge spending across events instead of one big push.
- Electro Era. With the cap at 5 and the Aggregator live, Electro Cores are easier to get. Check whether a pack is still worth it for its cores before you buy it.
- Forge tiers. Look at the cost of the next tier before buying gear materials. Our Mythic gear guide breaks down the costs.
- Leaders: post the shield change and the Neighboring States leaderboard in your alliance announcement. You can now edit scheduled announcements if plans change.
Your after-update checklist
- Read the patch note in the official Discord before you spend anything new.
- Check whether your Electro Level can go up now that the cap is 5, and whether your state has the Electro Aggregator yet.
- Look at your Chief Badges. If one is level 4 or higher, plan its next stage instead of saving for one big jump.
- Open the Forge and note which equipment tier you are in, so you know what the next step costs.
- Open the Neighboring States leaderboard and write down the states closest to yours in power.
- Redeem the weekly code on the Redeem Hub.
- Post one short summary for your alliance, with the shield rule at the top.
This takes ten minutes after each patch and stops the most common mistakes: wasted resources, badge levels bought at the wrong time, and members losing troops to a rule they did not know about.
How to read these notes
Police Chief patch notes are short. Where a note is vague, we write what it says and nothing more, and we do not guess at hidden changes. New features sometimes reach older states first, like the Electro Aggregator in States 1 to 28, so check your own state before you plan around a change.
