For Top Lords players and alliance leaders getting ready for the Deadzone event. Checked October 31, 2026.
Short answer: In the Top Lords Deadzone event, you turn your Shield off and collect Warplate and Cannons for Spoils Points. Bring them back to your Castle and they keep making points. If your Castle is breached you lose some but keep the points you already have. Teleporting out or getting blasted away loses everything you carry.
The Top Lords team previewed the Deadzone event on September 21, 2026 in the official Discord. It is a risk-and-reward event: you give up your Shield to gather points, and the map punishes careless players.
The preview was marked as early, so treat the rules below as the base and check the event screen in your kingdom.
How the Deadzone works
- Drop your Shield. You need it off to collect.
- Collect Warplate and Cannons in the Deadzone for Spoils Points.
- Bring them home. Back at your Castle they keep producing Spoils Points over time.
- Defend. If your Castle is breached, you lose some Warplate and Cannons, but you keep points you already have.
The big rule: if you teleport out of the Deadzone or get blasted away, you lose all the Warplate and Cannons you collected. Points you already have stay.
Rewards
| Reward type | What the preview lists |
|---|---|
| Spoils Points milestones | Honor Points, Beast Cores, Gems and more |
| Individual ranking | Rewards by your rank |
| Alliance ranking | Rewards by your alliance rank |
| Rounds | Two rounds |
Honor Points matter. They buy UR Gear Drafts and Universal UR Shards in the Honor Shop. Beast Cores feed your Griffin. See our Griffin guide and shop guide.
Why the Deadzone is different
Most Top Lords events reward you for spending speed-ups or killing monsters behind a Shield. The Deadzone does the opposite. It pays you for taking a risk on the open map. That makes it a test of alliance discipline as much as account strength. A well-organized mid-size alliance can do better here than a stronger but scattered one.
The risk in plain words
With your Shield off, you are open to attack. Each breach costs you some of what you hold. Getting blasted away costs all of it. So the Deadzone rewards players who:
- Bring loot home fast, so it starts producing.
- Have a strong enough defense, or friends close by, to avoid breaches.
- Never teleport out with a full load.
A breached Castle can also cost soldiers. Before you drop your Shield, make sure your Ward Tent has room. Our battle report and Ward Tent guide explains why a full hospital turns wounded into dead soldiers.
What we do not know yet
The official post was an early preview. It did not give exact Spoils Point values, how fast Warplate and Cannons produce at your Castle, how much a breach takes, or the event dates for each kingdom. We will not guess. Check the event screen in your kingdom and the official Discord notices when the event opens.
Common Deadzone mistakes
- Collecting a big load and then teleporting out. That loses all of it.
- Dropping your Shield with a full Ward Tent.
- Going out alone far from your alliance.
- Spending all speed-ups on the first round and having none for the second.
A simple plan for most players
- Before the event: clear your Ward Tent, finish heals, and have healing speed-ups ready.
- Set your squads so your best defenders are home. Use Lineup Presets if you have them unlocked.
- Go out in short trips. Collect, bring it home, repeat.
- If a much stronger player moves next to you, stop collecting and protect what you have.
- Shield again when you go offline, if the event allows it. Points you already have stay with you.
Lineup Presets arrived in the September 3, 2026 patch and unlock 20 days after your kingdom opens with Castle level 16, per the official patch notes.
For spenders and alliance leaders
Leaders: the alliance ranking is where your plan matters. Group your members' Castles so reinforcements arrive fast. Put your strongest defenders on the edges. Set one rule: nobody teleports out with a full load. Read our alliance leader guide and the alliance leader page.
Spenders: the costs here are healing and defense. Healing speed-ups keep you in the event after a hit. Spend on defense and healing before the event starts, not on attack boosts you will not use. Check the events calendar so your speed-ups are not split across too many events.
Honest note: Top Lords also runs an official web store. From October 21 to November 30, 2026 it adds a 5% Gold Ingot bonus and a few login extras. If that fits what you buy, use it. Packsify is for players who want the exact App Store or Google Play pack bought for them. See our web store guide for the details.
Where Packsify fits
If you buy packs before the Deadzone, Packsify can buy the exact App Store or Google Play pack you choose. With Packsify you get up to 13% more pack value for the same money. Packsify buys the exact pack through the official Apple App Store or Google Play, the same way a purchase on your own phone works. Read how we keep accounts safe before your first order.
