For Sea of Conquest players who want to join friends on another server, and Gang leaders recruiting from servers in their season group. Checked October 2026.
Short answer: You can move your Sea of Conquest account to another server from the Transfer option in the Season menu. It only works during a cross-server season, with a level 10 Flagship, and only to servers in your current season group. It costs 20 to 200 Seafaring Permits based on your highest-ever Power, and you must leave your Gang first.

For a long time the only way to play on another server was a fresh character. Transfers changed that, but with rules that catch people out, like a cost based on the highest Power you ever had. Here is how it works, what it costs and how leaders can use it.
Where to find it
Open the Season menu and tap Transfer (AppGamer). If you only want a second start, you can also make a new character from the Characters section of the Settings menu, but that starts from zero.
When and where you can move
- Only during a cross-server season. That means after Season 1, while you play Season 2 and later.
- Only to servers in your season. You can move to one of the servers you are currently up against. In Season 2 that is often 2 or 3 servers. Later seasons add more, but always a limited group near your own.
- Your Flagship must be level 10. Most players pass this long before Season 2.

What it costs
Each move needs Seafaring Permits. The number depends on your Power:
| Power | Permits needed |
|---|---|
| Under 27.0M | 20 |
| 27.0M to 29.1M | 30 |
| 29.1M to 30.9M | 50 |
| 30.9M to 34.5M | 70 |
| 34.5M to 42.7M | 100 |
| 42.7M to 44.8M | 130 |
| 44.8M to 51.2M | 170 |
| 51.2M and up | 200 |

The catch: the game records your all-time high Power. Removing heroes or gear for a day does not lower the price.
Where Seafaring Permits come from
- A pack on the Transfer screen that gives 5 permits at a time.
- The Gang Market, for 400 Gang Seals each. You can only buy 2 at a time, then wait for the market to refresh every 3 days.
At that pace, AppGamer works out about 30 days to collect the minimum 20 permits for free. A high-Power account that needs 200 will rely on the pack.
The checklist before you move
- All ships idle: no battles, garrisons or gathering.
- Not in a Gang. You must leave yours first.
- Not carrying any cargo.
- Flagship at least level 10 and out on the world map.
- Not in any squad.
Leaving the Gang is the step with a cost: you lose access to the Gang Market and Gang perks until you join a new one. Buy your Gang Market permits before you leave.
What moves with you
AppGamer describes a transfer as your fleet getting a new home outside the seasonal waters. Your new home sea is the server you picked, and that is where you return when you leave the seasonal waters. Before you move, check the new server: its top Gangs, its time zone, and whether a Gang there has room for you. Ask in that server's chat during the season, while you share the same waters.
Is it worth it?
Move when there is a clear reason: friends, a Gang that fits your time zone, or a server where you can actually fight for the top. Do not move to escape one bad week. The permit cost only goes up as your Power grows, so if you plan to move, moving earlier costs fewer permits.
For spenders and Gang leaders
- Recruit across your season group. Strong players on the servers you meet in season can move to yours. That is your recruiting pool.
- Make the offer concrete. Tell a recruit which rank and role they get, and when your Gang is active. They have to leave their Gang to move, so they need a reason.
- Time it before big fights. A recruit who lands the week before Showdown o' Gangs helps more than one who lands after. See our Showdown guide.
- High Power means high cost. A top account can need the full 200 permits. Plan the move early, before Power climbs further.
