Puzzles & Survival Reservoir Tournament Guide (2026): Schedule, Rules, Rewards

For R4s and R5s in Puzzles & Survival running Reservoir War this season, and for members who want to know what is at stake. Checked October 31, 2026.

Short answer: The 2026 Reservoir Tournament runs from October sign-ups to playoffs on December 10. Alliances need level 8 and 30 members at HQ 22 to register, and the top 64 by might in each of 15 divisions qualify. Groups of four play rounds on October 22, October 29 and November 5, with three points per win.

The Reservoir Tournament is the big alliance competition of the autumn. It groups neighbouring states into battle divisions and runs for about two months, from sign-up to the final playoff. Below: the full schedule, the rules that decide who gets in and who wins, and the rewards most alliances misunderstand.

Dates come from the official Discord event news. Rules come from the official creator preview guide and an official creator preview video. As of October 31, two group rounds are done and the third, on November 5, is next. There is still time to fix time slots, rally leaders and supplies before the qualifiers.

Reservoir Tournament 2026 schedule

Who can enter

• Alliance level 8 or higher.
• At least 30 members at HQ level 22 or higher.
• States are grouped into 15 battle divisions of neighbouring states.
• In each division, the top 64 registered alliances by might qualify.

How the group stage works

The 64 alliances in a division are split into 8 zones of 8 alliances, and each zone plays in groups of four. A win is worth 3 points. If two alliances end a match level on score, the one that reached that score first wins. When you register, you pick four time slots, so choose the ones when your strongest members are online.

Watch the clock change

Daylight saving time ends in many countries in the middle of the tournament. Your chosen slot does not move, but your members' local time does. Players in the official Discord have already asked for a 21:00 UTC slot back. Check your slot in UTC and tell your alliance the new local time before the next round.

Endorsements and Reservoir Tokens

• You get two normal endorsements per round. In the playoffs they open 24 hours before match day.
• Endorsements give Reservoir Tokens, which you spend in the tournament shop.
• Unused tokens convert to 10 gas each at the end, so spend them on what you need first.
• Champion endorsements give champion badges.

Aviator chests: who gets them

The permanent chest lets you choose one of three: the Navigator sanctuary skin, the Aviator march skin or the Hollow ambience. These are alliance rewards. The R5 distributes them; they are not given to every member. Agree on how they are split before the tournament ends, so nobody feels cheated after the final.

Match day checklist

1. Post the match time in UTC and in your members' main time zones, a day ahead.
2. Name your rally leaders and a backup for each.
3. Ask members to have healing and speed-ups ready before the match, not during it.
4. Claim your two normal endorsements when they open, 24 hours before playoff match days.
5. After the match, post the score and the next date in alliance chat.

If you miss the top 64

Missing qualification is not the end of the season. Use the weeks to grow members toward HQ 22, raise alliance might, and practise rally timing in regular events. Alliances that miss by a few places one season often qualify the next, because the cutoff is set by might rank inside your own division.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• Register even if you doubt it. Players report alliances that did not want to sign up. Qualifying is about might rank in your division, and a group-stage run still gives rewards.
• Fill 30 HQ 22 members early. If you are short, push members close to HQ 22 now, not in the last week.
• Buy before match days. Healing, speed-ups and troop packs do the most when they arrive before a round, not during it.
• Write the chest rule down. Decide who gets the permanent and timed Aviator chests by contribution and post it.
