For Puzzles & Survival players deciding how hard to push the Halloween events, and for spenders weighing the ranking rewards. Checked October 31, 2026.
Short answer: The Puzzles & Survival Halloween 2026 events give cosmetics for effort and rank: top 50 in Repelling Pumpkinmen get the Skeleton Knight sanctuary skin, top ranks in Aiding the Knight get the Wraith Chains ambience, and the Castle Vault shovel event gives a Halloween nameplate. Pumpkin Powder comes from daily quests or Battle Passes and packs.

Halloween in Puzzles & Survival is a bundle of events announced on the official Discord from mid-October, with new bulletins through October 29. Most of the rewards are cosmetics: a sanctuary skin, an ambience and a nameplate. That makes the main question simple. How much is a look worth to you?
Event end dates were not in the bulletins we read, so check the in-game event page for the closing time. The plan below also works for the next seasonal event, because the structure repeats.
Halloween 2026 events and rewards
| Event | How it works | Top reward |
|---|---|---|
| Repelling Pumpkinmen | Ranking event | Skeleton Knight sanctuary skin for the top 50 |
| Aiding the Knight | Ranking event | Wraith Chains ambience for top ranks |
| Castle Vault | Dig with shovels | Halloween nameplate |
| Crow Gacha (Oct 19) | Gacha event | AER-Scout Crow and a UR Creature Choice Card I |
Pumpkin Powder: where it comes from
Pumpkin Powder is the Halloween event resource. The official bulletin says you get it from daily quests, or from Battle Passes and packs. Daily quests are the free route. If you want a top 50 rank, the free route alone will not get you there in most states.
Repelling Pumpkinmen: is top 50 worth it?
Only the top 50 get the Skeleton Knight sanctuary skin. In an active state, that is a real spending race. Ask yourself whether you will actually use the skin. If you are not sure, play for the participation rewards and keep your budget for events that make your account stronger.
Aiding the Knight
The Wraith Chains ambience goes to the top ranks. Like the Pumpkinmen ranking, it is a cosmetic. Push it only if it matters to you, or if you are already close to a reward tier.
Castle Vault
Castle Vault is a dig event: you use shovels to open the vault, and the Halloween nameplate is the prize. Players in the official Discord discussed pumpkin drops and castle rewards on October 30. Use the shovels you get for free first. Buying shovels for a nameplate is a pure looks choice.
Crow Gacha
The Crow Gacha from October 19 is different from the rest: the AER-Scout Crow is a creature, not just a look, and the UR Creature Choice Card I lets you pick a UR creature. If you spend on any part of Halloween for power, this is the one.
A free player plan for Halloween
If you are not spending, Halloween is still worth your time. Do the daily quests every day for Pumpkin Powder, use every free shovel in the Castle Vault, and play the ranking events for their participation rewards. You will not reach the top 50 in most states, but you lose nothing by collecting what the events give everyone.
Common Halloween mistakes
- Buying event resources before checking your rank against the top 50.
- Forgetting daily quests, the only free source of Pumpkin Powder.
- Spending on a skin you will not use while skipping the creature that adds power.
- Saving powder until the end and running out of time to use it.
How to plan the next seasonal event
- Read the bulletin as soon as it posts and list the rewards.
- Split them into power rewards and looks rewards.
- Do the free daily quests every day for the event resource.
- Spend only on power rewards, or on looks you truly want.
- Check your rank halfway through. If you are far from a reward tier, stop spending.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Power before looks. If you have one budget, the Crow Gacha choice card beats a skin.
- Ranking races cost more late. Decide early if you are going for top 50. Joining the race in the last hours costs the most.
- Battle Pass timing. The bulletin lists Battle Passes as a Pumpkin Powder source. If you buy one, buy it early so you have time to finish its tiers before the event closes.
- Leaders: remind members to do the daily quests. Free powder adds up over the event.
- Value: see our best packs to buy guide before any event spend.
