Evony Festival Packages: Is the 108,000% Value Worth It? (2026)

For Evony players who buy during holiday events and want to know which tiers are worth it. Checked October 31, 2026.

Short answer: Evony festival packages sell five tiers every day of a holiday event and claim up to 108,000% value return. That number compares contents to a base gem price, so it is not real savings. The lowest tiers are usually the best value per dollar. Buy the top tier only for a general or item you need.

Every big Evony holiday event in 2026 came with the same headline: five package tiers every day and "108,000% Value Return". Maple Syrup, Fire Festival, Mother's Day and the Triumphal Celebration all used it.

Big numbers make people buy fast. This guide slows it down: what is in the tiers, what the percentage means, and how to choose.

What Evony announced in 2026

Across its April, May and June 2026 event posts, Evony described holiday packages like this:

• Five package tiers available every day of the event.
• A "108000% Value Return" label on the packages.
• Gear chests and gold helmets in the tiers.
• A chance at an Epic Historic General. Named examples included Akechi Mitsuhide and Presley O'Bannon.

Big holiday events ran about 10 days each in spring 2026, for example April 10 to 20 and April 24 to May 4. Exact contents change per event, so always open the tier in the game and read it.

What a full tier ladder looks like

Evony does not publish full contents on its site. The best public example is an older list on the Evony Guide Wiki, from packages sold in January 2021. Contents have changed since, but the shape of the ladder is useful:

The wiki page says all five tiers together cost about 185 USD, and the fifth tier had to be bought within one day. Check today's version in the game; tier contents and rules vary by event.

What the 108,000% really means

Evony compares the "value" of everything in the package with a base gem price. Speed-ups, resources and EXP items are priced at their gem cost in the shop, which is high. Add it all up and you get a huge percentage.

That does not make the number fake. Holiday tiers really do hold more than plain gems at the same price. But it is not a savings figure. A tier full of items you will never use has a high "value" and zero value to you.

A better test for each tier:

1. Would I buy the headline item on its own? A general you will build, a helmet you need, teleporters before SvS.
2. Are the gems inside worth close to the price by themselves? Then the rest is a bonus.
3. Will I use the speed-ups during an event that scores them? Then they are worth more than their face value.

Which tiers to buy

• Low spenders: the first tier, every day you can, during events you play. The wiki notes many players buy the 4.99 tier often.
• Mid spenders: tiers one to three, picked by what is inside that day.
• Top-tier buyers: buy the fifth tier when the general or item fits your build. Read our Historic General packs guide first.

For spenders and alliance leaders

Holiday events are where the biggest daily tiers show up, so plan around them. Hold your speed-ups and gems from the weeks before, then buy the tiers that match what your account needs. Do not buy all five tiers every day by habit.

Leaders: tell members when the next holiday event is likely and which items your alliance needs most. Teleporters and march size items help before Server War. Helmets and gear chests help the players who carry your rallies.
