War and Order Updates (November 2026): Tome of Glory and More

For War and Order players who want to know what changed in the 2026 updates and what it means for their artifacts and alliance. Checked November 3, 2026.

Short answer: The latest War and Order update, version 4.0.103 in late October 2026, repeats the Tome of Glory notes: once Purple and Orange Artifacts reach max stars, their fragments raise Glory Levels for bonus stats. Earlier 2026 updates added Crown Artifact exchanges, the Warbringer rank, a clearer castle model and a higher Alliance Donation cap.

War and Order patches often, but most notes only say "fixed online problems". The few that add something real are about artifacts, ranks and the alliance. All dates and features here come from the official App Store version history.

2026 update timeline

The first Tome of Glory notes came in 3.0.190 on April 29. The other versions since then list only fixes and performance work.

Tome of Glory: fragments after max stars

Tome of Glory unlocks on its own once your Purple and Orange Artifacts reach their max star levels. From then on, the matching Artifact Fragments go into Glory Levels, which add bonus stats. It first arrived on April 29 (3.0.190), and the late October notes repeat it. The notes do not list the stats per level, so open it in game to see them.

Practical rule: fragments for an artifact that is not at max stars yet still go into stars first. Tome of Glory is where fragments keep adding stats after that.

Crown Artifact exchanges

Since August 28 the Artifact Shop can exchange for four Crown Fragment types: Radiant Scale, Thunderbolt, Ice and Evernight. If you have been stuck one fragment type short, this is the place to check first. Pick the Crown artifact your build needs and exchange toward that one, instead of spreading across all four.

Warbringer military rank

The September 4 update added Warbringer as a new military rank. The note does not say what it unlocks or how to reach it, so check the rank screen in game for the requirements and bonuses.

Clearer battles on the world map

The October 14 update changed the castle model on the world map. Big castle models used to cover marches and fights. With the new model, rallies and attacks around a castle are easier to read, which helps rally leaders call targets.

Alliance Donations up to 20

Since July 22 Alliance Donations stack up to 20 instead of 15. If you log in once a day, you lose fewer donations to the cap, which means more alliance contribution for the alliance shop and faster alliance research.

The current season

The App Store page currently promotes a Witch's Gift season. Event rules and rewards change by kingdom, so read the event screen in game.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• Check the Artifact Shop before you buy fragments. If you were about to buy a pack for Crown Fragments, see what the Artifact Shop exchange covers first and buy only the gap that is left.
• Maxed Purple and Orange Artifacts? Fragments still add power through Tome of Glory Glory Levels, so fragment packs keep their value after max stars.
• Pick one Crown artifact. Radiant Scale, Thunderbolt, Ice and Evernight fragments all compete for the same budget. Finish one before you start the next.
• Spend donations, do not cap them. With the cap at 20, a member who donates once a day keeps up. Leaders can set alliance research priorities so those donations go to the tech the whole alliance needs.
• Leaders: use the new castle model to your advantage in rallies. Call targets and timing in chat, since the map now shows marches around castles more clearly. See the alliance leader page.
