The Top Lords Monthly Pass costs $24.99 on the App Store, and its key benefit is an extra (4th) squad. That matters most for rally leaders, not for every player. For every other pack, use the Gem store as your benchmark: the 99.99 tier gives 10,000 Gems. A pack is worth buying when it beats that value and lands on a day it also scores points.

These are the paid tiers listed on the App Store in October 2026. In-game, the same tier shows up as Gem packs, Hot Packages, event packs and VIP packs.

Top Lords prices its packs with the same number in every currency, so 99.99 EUR buys the same pack as 99.99 USD. If you pay in euros, that works in your favour compared with most 4X games, where the euro price is higher.
The Monthly Pass: is it worth it?
The main thing the Monthly Pass gives you is an extra squad, your 4th. That is a big deal if you lead rallies, and much less if you do not. Top players on live servers say it is worth buying for at least one month. Some of them do not renew, because they rarely use a 4th squad.
The pass also pays out in daily claims, so log in every day while it runs. Before you buy, open the pass screen and add up what it gives over the month. Then compare it with what $24.99 buys in the Gem store, which is about 2,500 Gems at the 100 Gems per dollar benchmark.
If you do not lead rallies, or you play on and off, skip it and buy a Gem pack on a scoring day instead. Next to the Gem store you also find the Knight Pass tab. Judge it the same way: total rewards over its run, divided by the price.
How to judge any Top Lords pack in under a minute
- Does it beat the Gem benchmark? The 99.99 tier gives 10,000 Gems, so about 100 Gems per dollar. If a pack's contents would cost more than that in Gems, it is better value than buying Gems.
- Does it land on a scoring day? In Alliance Duel, every Gem's worth of packs you buy scores 30 points, on all six scoring days. A top-up event window adds event rewards on top. The same pack bought on a quiet day gets only its contents.
- Do you need what is inside now? Hero shards for a hero you are building this week are worth more than resources you already have plenty of. A pack full of things you will not use for a month is not good value, whatever the label says.
Packs worth a look
- First purchase Gem packs. The first purchase of each Gem pack size gives double Gems. Buy each size once before anything else.
- VIP exclusive packs. Each VIP level has an exclusive pack. Fan trackers list prices from 5.99 EUR at VIP 1 up to 119.99 EUR at the top, with worker shards in the lower levels. More in Top Lords VIP levels.
- Hero packs when a new hero arrives. New heroes reach a server by server day. Shards bought the week a hero arrives are worth more than the same shards a month later.
- Healing and speed-up packs before Kingdom Duel. War weeks use a lot of both. Buy them before the fight, not during it.
Packs to skip
- Mystery Supply Chests as a main buy. Rare rewards are a gamble, not a plan.
- Basic resource packs when your storage is already full.
- Anything bought to finish a timer instantly on a day it does not score.
