Front of the Pack is not a progress event. It is a timing event.

Most players treat it as background: something that runs while they play and rewards what they were going to do anyway. That leaves a big part of the rewards on the table every day. The players who get the most from it do not do more than anyone else. They do the same things at the right time.

The event runs six rounds a day, each four hours long. Each round has missions that give bonus items on top of the progress you were making anyway. Palmon Eggs, XP, speed-ups and AP used during a matching mission give base progress plus the mission bonus. The same resources used outside a window give base progress only. Same investment, different return, purely on timing.

For big accounts, those resources (Palmon Eggs, UR Omni Tokens, Skill Fruits, speed-ups, AP items) are real budget. Using them inside a mission window instead of outside it is a direct multiplier on what your spending gets you.

How the event works

Front of the Pack runs six four-hour rounds a day and resets daily. Each round has a set of active missions tied to resource types: a mission might give bonus points for using Palmon Eggs, XP, speed-ups or AP. The missions rotate between rounds, so not every resource is active in every round.

The rule is simple. Resources used during an active mission that matches them give base progress plus a bonus reward. The same amount used outside that window gives base progress only. The progress is the same. The extra reward depends only on timing.

So for big accounts, holding resources for the right window is the whole game. For accounts that buy packs every month, the question is never "should I use this". The resources are there. The question is "is the right mission open now, and if not, how long until it is".

What to hold, and for which mission

Palmon Eggs. Hold your hatching until a round with an Egg mission is active. Big accounts open enough eggs that the bonus from timing them is meaningful every session. Do not open eggs casually between rounds. Check the active mission before you open any egg stack.

XP and Tomes of Knowledge. Hold Commander and Palmon XP items until a round with an XP mission. The XP is the same inside or outside the window. The mission bonus is what changes. Hold, line up, then use.

Speed-ups. Hold building and upgrade speed-ups for the speed-up mission window. Big speed-up use outside a mission window is the most expensive timing mistake, because for big accounts speed-ups carry real Pallite or pack value. A speed-up used in the wrong window gives no mission bonus. The same speed-up in the right window gives base progress plus the Front of the Pack rewards on top.

AP (Action Points). Use AP items and natural AP during AP mission windows. AP recovers on its own, so the timing here is mostly about AP items: keep them for the right mission instead of burning them between rounds.

Reading the mission themes

Mission themes follow a rotation that experienced players on a server start to recognize. The practical approach is to check the active mission at the start of each four-hour window and batch the matching resource into that window, instead of spreading it across the day.

The windows worth the most are Palmon Eggs, speed-ups and XP. These are the three resources big accounts use the most of, so the bonus gap is biggest. AP windows come second, unless you have AP items saved up for them.

Lining up Front of the Pack with the Guild Duel daily theme is the most efficient play on the Palmon Survival event calendar. When a Front of the Pack speed-up window and a Guild Duel speed-up theme happen together, one speed-up gives the Front of the Pack bonus and Guild Duel theme points in one action. Plan for these overlaps instead of finding them by accident.

Timing VIP pack contents

VIP packs at levels 7 and 8 give UR Omni Tokens, Pallite and resource bundles that feed straight into Front of the Pack mission types. So time when you open their contents, not when you buy.

Buy the pack, hold the usable contents (Eggs, speed-ups, AP items) until the right mission window opens, then use everything in that window. When you buy does not change. When you use does. This costs nothing and turns the same pack into a higher return, because its resources reach the mission bonus instead of skipping it.

Guild leader playbook

Front of the Pack is scored per player, but its overlap with Guild Duel makes guild coordination worth it. Three things are worth doing on purpose:

• Post the active mission at round start. One message when a high-value round opens, like "Front of the Pack speed-up window open, 4 hours", gets the whole roster using their saved resources at once. Players who were waiting will use them. Players who did not check will too. Guild output goes up without anyone spending more.
• Call out Front of the Pack and Guild Duel overlaps. When both events match, send one combined call: "Front of the Pack and Guild Duel are both on speed-ups right now." Members who know both events will use the overlap. Members who did not know will learn it.
• Notice who keeps using resources outside windows. In active guilds, wasted resources are a shared problem. Members who keep burning eggs and speed-ups between rounds miss bonuses that would help their own progress and the guild's event results. One short guide message in guild chat on Front of the Pack timing is worth more than most guild admin work.
