Lord of Seas Spending Guide: What to Buy and When (2026)

Short answer: A good order: the Captain Benefits subscription if you play daily, then hero recruitment toward the 50 Exotic Contracts that guarantee a legendary hero, then dragons and alliance events. Seven Seas Star costs about 100 per dollar at every size, so buy for the next event, not for a bigger tier.

What Seven Seas Star costs

The Seven Seas Star Store has been in the game since July 2025. It sells six amounts:

Every amount is about 100 Seven Seas Star per dollar. The 30,000 tier gives you no better rate than the 500 tier. That changes how you buy: load what the next event needs, not the biggest amount on the screen. Check what each amount buys in the shop before you pick one.

1. Captain Benefits, if you log in every day

Captain Benefits is a subscription added in August 2026. It gives:

• Daily rewards.
• 6 exclusive Buffs.
• A doubled Trade Limit.
• Bonuses on Daily Specials.

Daily rewards, Buffs and the Trade Limit only help on days you log in. If you play daily, it is the first thing to look at. If you play a few times a week, check the price against what you will actually use before you subscribe.

2. Hero recruitment: the 50-contract guarantee

In the Tavern, 50 Exotic Contracts guarantee a legendary hero. That rule decides how to spend on heroes:

• Know your count. Check in the Tavern how many contracts you have toward the 50 before you spend.
• Budget to the guarantee. Plan your spend so you know whether you can reach 50.

The June 2026 update reworked the animations of Yuna Saito, Julius Caesar, Alexander Lane and Mordrax. Ask your alliance which ones your server's top fleets run before you chase one.

3. Dragons

Dragon Expedition arrived in September 2026. Dragons unlock at 1,000 Dragon Points, join fleet expeditions and battles, and boost fleet skill damage. The same update added Dragon Ascension events.

Dragon Points are what unlock dragons, so check what the next Dragon Ascension event rewards before you spend on them.

4. Alliance events

These are the alliance events the patch notes name:

• Alliance Mobilization: since December 2025, every member must complete tasks and reach a score target to claim the final reward.
• Seven Seas Covenant: an alliance event added in June 2026.
• War of Dominance: Throne Chests were added in June 2026.
• Championship Clash: preliminaries, semi-finals and finals, with a contest shop.
• The Seven Sea Cup: a tournament with a Legendary Golden Cup Skin as the prize.
• Ultimate War: the 2025 edition launched on December 16, 2025, with the Ultimate Wheel, Legend of Kings and an exclusive shop.

Free rewards to take first

• Treasure Map upgrades: from Treasure Map level 8 you get new missions with rare rewards.
• The Abyssal Horror: Legendary Hero Signet rewards.
• Glenn's Fleet: an Avatar Frame reward.
• Sign-in Season Pass: when one runs, log in every day so you don't miss steps.

Turn on Auto Rally too. It joins rallies while you are offline, so your fleet keeps adding to alliance fights.

For spenders and alliance leaders

1. Know your contract count before you buy. Then you know how far the 50-contract legendary guarantee is.
2. Before Alliance Mobilization, check every member. Each member must complete tasks and reach the score target to claim the final reward. Post the target in alliance chat early, not on the last day.
3. Watch for Ultimate War. The 2025 edition launched on December 16, 2025 with the Ultimate Wheel and an exclusive shop. Check the in-game event calendar for the next one and buy for what its shop sells.
4. Know which alliance event is live. Seven Seas Covenant (June 2026), Championship Clash (contest shop) and War of Dominance (Throne Chests) are alliance events. Check which one is on and what its shop or chests give before members spend.
