Short answer: The biggest Last Beacon: Survival changes of 2026 so far: Overlord Exploration and the Lumen Era in July, Battlefield Aid and Mine Battles in August, Glory Duel in September, and Rust Battlefield with Supreme Sea King on Oct 21. New servers open every few days, and an official web store has run since Jun 29.
Every update date below comes from the official patch notes and game news in the Last Beacon Discord. Player reports are marked as such. Newest first. Each update ends with what it changes for players who buy packs and for the people who run alliances. Where the notes give no numbers, none are listed.

Late October: TRICK2026 and Oasis Wars reports
The official Discord posted the gift code TRICK2026 on Oct 29. Last Beacon codes have short deadlines. Earlier codes like FATHERSDAY2026 (800 Rubies and three 1-hour training speed-ups) lasted about five days. Codes expire, so check each one in game before you count on it.
On Oct 30 and 31 players started reporting Oasis Wars on some states, including posts that not all troops came back after a fight. A community guide says Oasis Coins buy new heroes. The official notes we read do not cover Oasis Wars yet, so treat these as player reports.
What it means: leaders should ask members to screenshot their troop count before and after Oasis fights and send it to support if numbers do not match. Spenders should wait for the in-game Oasis page before buying hero growth for new Oasis heroes.
Oct 21: Rust Battlefield, Supreme Sea King and Halloween
- Rust Battlefield: a real-time mode for 10 players. You fight for objectives, supplies and airdrops, and you can bring heroes of any season.
- Supreme Sea King: daily objectives and a cross-server leaderboard.
- Glory Duel: part of the same patch, after its September start.
- Halloween skins: Mystic Cat Lighthouse Skin, Magic Mischief March Skin and Wonder Night Avatar Frame.
The notes list no rewards, entry times or scoring for Rust Battlefield. Players also report a Halloween Haunted House event where some could not claim the final pumpkin reward.
What it means: any-season heroes is the key line. A hero you built last season still has a job. Before you spend on a new hero for Rust Battlefield, check whether an older one you already starred covers the slot. Supreme Sea King objectives are daily and free, so leaders can add them to the alliance daily checklist.
October: a new server every 2 to 4 days
Game news announced S23 on Oct 4, S24 on Oct 6, S25 on Oct 8, S26 on Oct 10, S29 on Oct 16, S30 on Oct 17 and S31 on Oct 19.
What it means: every new server is a fresh pool of players who pick an alliance in the first days. Leaders who recruit there should post on day one and hand recruits a plan. On a fresh server the Lighthouse caps every other building, so speed-ups go to the Lighthouse first. Our Combat Power guide covers that order.
Sep 18: Glory Duel and Block Challenge
Glory Duel scores eliminations and win streaks and pays in Merits. Block Challenge is a block-matching mini game with a leaderboard and needs no army.
What it means: Glory Duel and Mine Battles both pay Merits. Push the one that fits your lineup instead of splitting troops across both. Win streaks reward a lineup that stays healthy, so heal between fights instead of queueing hurt.
Aug 31: Mine Battles and building unlock changes
In Mine Battles you attack and hold mines for Merits. The same patch gave the Supreme Ark President an Ark Core shelter skin and adjusted building unlock levels.
What it means: holding a mine is a team job, so leaders should assign who holds which mine and who reinforces. If an older guide shows a building unlocking at a different level, this patch is why. Trust the in-game screen.
Aug 12 and Aug 18: Battlefield Aid and the Yacht
Battlefield Aid runs after Alliance Duel. Members can rescue troops lost in Alliance Raid. On Aug 18 the game added a Yacht gift item. The notes say little more about it.
What it means: every rescued troop is one less to heal or retrain, which matters most for players who bought troops to push the Duel. Leaders should post a rescue reminder right after each Alliance Duel. Our Alliance Duel guide covers the phases.
Jul 29: the Lumen Era
- Lumen Cores now sit in buildings, troops and research.
- An intel-mission event gives Dim Lumen Cores that you exchange for rewards.
- Cumulative recharge reward tiers count your total top-ups over time.
- Wonder skills unlock at every 25% of construction, with a Wonder donation ranking.
The notes give no Lumen Core costs or bonus sizes. Open a building to see its Lumen Core slot for your account.
What it means: the recharge tiers are the line spenders should read first. Check the tier list in game before you buy, so packs you already planned also reach the next tier. For leaders, the Wonder is now a shared project with four skill steps. A daily donation target, with the ranking as the check, gets those skills sooner.
Jul 22: Overlord Exploration
Upgrading the Overlord raises troop stats, and the Overlord explores the ocean for resources. The same patch added Drone and Overlord CP rankings.
What it means: an Overlord upgrade does not run out after one event. It works like research, a stat that helps every fight. Because Overlord CP is ranked, other leaders can now see who skipped it.
Jun 29: official top-up web store
Last Beacon opened an official web store at lb-pay.iflowgames.com. You buy Ark Tokens with your Game ID, get bonus Ark Tokens, and redeem them for packs in the game. The launch code was VIP2026.
What it means: there are now two ways to buy the same packs: Ark Tokens through the web store, or the App Store and Google Play pack itself. Both are official routes.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Read the cumulative recharge tiers first. Since Jul 29 they count every top-up. Plan Duel packs so they also cross a tier.
- Time hero and troop packs to Duel phases. In the community Alliance Duel guide, phase 2 scores hero star-ups and phase 4 scores troop training. Open those packs on those days, then use Battlefield Aid after the Duel to win troops back.
- Do not buy a new hero for Rust Battlefield blind. Any-season heroes are allowed, and the notes list no rewards yet.
- Leaders: set a Wonder donation target. Skills open at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of construction, and the ranking shows who is helping.
- Leaders recruiting on new servers: post on day one of each server and tell recruits "Lighthouse first".
