Last Beacon Survival Rust Battlefield, Glory Duel and Mine Battles Guide (October 2026)

For Last Beacon: Survival players and alliance leaders who want the new battle modes explained. Checked October 31 2026.

Short answer: Rust Battlefield is a real-time mode added on Oct 21 2026 where 10 players fight for objectives, supplies and airdrops, and you can use heroes from any season. Glory Duel rewards eliminations and win streaks with Merits. Mine Battles, added Aug 31, is about attacking and holding mines for Merits.

Last Beacon: Survival added several battle modes between August and October 2026. This guide covers each one with the date it arrived, taken from the official patch notes in the Discord. Where the notes stop, we say so.

Rust Battlefield (Oct 21 2026)

The Oct 21 patch added Rust Battlefield. The official notes describe it as a real-time mode for 10 players. You play for objectives, supplies and airdrops. You can bring heroes of any season, which means older heroes you built are still useful.

The notes do not list rewards, entry times or scoring. Read the in-game event page before you commit time.

Same patch: Supreme Sea King and Glory Duel

• Supreme Sea King: daily objectives and a cross-server leaderboard.
• Glory Duel: mentioned again in the Oct 21 patch.
• Halloween skins: Mystic Cat Lighthouse Skin, Magic Mischief March Skin and Wonder Night Avatar Frame.

Glory Duel and Block Challenge (Sep 18 2026)

Glory Duel first arrived on Sep 18. It scores eliminations and win streaks and pays out in Merits. The same patch added Block Challenge, a block-matching mini game with a leaderboard. Block Challenge is a light break from fleet fights. It needs no army.

Mine Battles (Aug 31 2026)

In Mine Battles you attack and hold mines, and you collect Merits. The same patch gave Supreme Ark Presidents an Ark Core shelter skin and changed some building unlock levels. If a building looks different from older guides, this patch is why.

Battlefield Aid (Aug 12 2026)

Battlefield Aid works after Alliance Duel. Alliance members can rescue troops lost in Alliance Raid. This turns a lost raid into a smaller loss if your alliance is active. It is a good reason to keep members engaged after the fight, not only during it.

Which mode should you spend time on?

Start with what your account already does well. Mine Battles and Glory Duel both pay Merits, so a strong lineup helps in both. Rust Battlefield uses heroes from any season, so it rewards players who kept building older heroes. Our Combat Power guide shows how to build one strong lineup, and that helps in every mode here.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• Prepare before the window. Real-time modes like Rust Battlefield go fast. Have troops healed and speed-ups ready before you queue.
• Tell members which hero line to play. A clear lineup beats ten different ones.
• Use Battlefield Aid. After Alliance Duel, remind the alliance to rescue troops. It is free value.
• Do not buy a pack on day one of a new mode. Read what it pays first. Packs are best bought for a mode you have seen the rewards of.
• Check the Merits path. Two modes pay Merits, so plan which one you push.
