King of Avalon Updates 2026: Every Patch From 24.0 to 24.8

For King of Avalon players and alliance leaders who want to know what changed this year and what to plan for. Checked October 2026.

Short answer: King of Avalon shipped seven updates with official notes from May to September 2026, from 24.0.0 to 24.8.0. They added three Elemental hero sets (Light, Earth, Dark), the Supreme Mystic Soul, Illusion Hero Weapons, Draconic Stones, the Mystic Fox Emblem and the 10th anniversary events. Plan spend around each new set.

Frost & Flame: King of Avalon turned ten in September 2026, and the year leading up to it was busy. New hero sets, new gear systems and a big anniversary all landed between May and September.

Below is a dated table of every update from 24.0.0 to 24.8.0, what each one means for your account, and what to plan for next.

Every King of Avalon update in 2026

All dates are from the Solar update notes, posted by the moderators for The Council of Avalon in the official King of Avalon Discord. Lunar kingdoms can get the same content on a different day.

We found no notes for 24.5.0 or 24.7.0 in the forum, so they are not in the table.

The big themes of the year

1. Elemental hero sets

Three sets came out: Light, Earth and Dark. Each has a Garrison hero and three combat heroes, one per troop type, with a Bond skill and a Divine skill. Our Elemental heroes guide covers every hero and skill name.

2. New gear and materials every few weeks

Almost every update added a new item and a new material to farm or buy: Celestial Gemstone, Illusion Hero Weapons, Draconic Stones, the Mystic Fox Emblem and Duskshadow Equipment. Each one is a new place for resources to go.

3. The Supreme Mystic Soul

Added in 24.2.0 and expanded in 24.8.0. Per the notes, it fuses six elements and brings Holy Damage and Mystic Soul Revival.

4. Dragons

Dragon Awakening research came in 24.0.0, the Dragon King expansion in 24.3.0, and new runes for the Infinite Realms Dragon King in 24.4.0.

The 10th anniversary (September 2026)

Version 24.8.0 brought the anniversary events: Memories of Avalon, Worldwide Celebration, Mythical Heroes Return, Evil Dragon Conflict and anniversary skins. FunPlus said the anniversary ran from September 4 to September 30, 2026, that Merlin became a hero you can collect, and that the code AVALON10YEARS gives 100 Diamonds to players at level 10 and above. What about Stronghold 55 and 60?

Players in the official Discord chat say Stronghold 55 arrived about a month ago in some kingdoms and that Stronghold 60 is now out in both Solar and Lunar kingdoms. We found no written official notes or guide that confirms the requirements, so we leave the details out until one is posted.

What to plan for next

No one outside FunPlus knows the next version. But the 2026 pattern is clear, and you can plan on it:

• A new version every two to four weeks. From 24.0.0 to 24.8.0 took under four months.
• A new hero set every six to eight weeks. Light in June, Earth in July, Dark in September.
• New gear or a new material with most updates. Keep some resources free so you are not caught empty.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• Keep a reserve before each update. New hero sets and gear land often. A balance of Diamonds and speedups saved for launch week goes further than buying in a rush.
• Finish what you started. A full Light or Earth set with its Bond is worth more than a half built Dark set. Do not jump to every new thing.
• Brief the alliance after each patch. Post a short note in alliance chat: what came out, which set fits your main rally troop, and which codes are live. Leaders who do this keep members building in the same direction. See our page for alliance leaders.
• Do not plan around rumours. Stronghold 60 is a good example. Wait for written notes before you spend for it.

A note on the official web store
