Short answer: The Infinite Borders 11th anniversary update (version 9.1.6, late October 2026) gives a permanent 5-star hero for logging in and doing quests, a permanent 5-star card from the Memory Scroll event, daily Auspicious Screen tiles with chances at Jade, Luoyang Carriages, new limited heroes in the Celebration Card Pack, and the INFINITE BORDERS Kill mode.

Infinite Borders is NetEase's Three Kingdoms strategy game, and the 11th anniversary update landed in late October 2026. Everything listed here comes from the official 9.1.6 notes on the App Store. The notes give no end dates and no exact reward counts, so none are listed. Check each event page in game for the timer.

Every anniversary event at a glance

The free 5-star hero: claim it first

The notes say the 5-star hero is permanent and comes from logging in and completing quests. That makes it the one thing every player should finish. Log in every day of the event, even on days you do not play much, because the notes do not say how many login days the hero needs.

Memory Scroll: a second 5-star card

Memory Scroll gives a permanent 5-star commemorative card. The notes do not say how many steps it takes, so open the event on day one and see how far behind you are. Check the card's skills before you build a lineup around it.

Auspicious Screen: free daily Jade chances

You claim tiles on the Auspicious Screen every day for a chance at Jade and a Grand Koi Prize. It costs nothing, so make it part of your daily routine. Do not plan your Jade budget around it: the notes say chances, not a fixed amount.

Luoyang Carriages

You buy carriages and park them for rewards over time, plus an Avatar Frame. The notes do not say what a carriage costs or what it pays back. Look at the price and the payout in game before you buy more than one, and park them on day one so they run for the whole event.

Celebration Card Pack: the limited heroes

This is where most anniversary Jade goes. The notes promise new limited heroes, but the store text does not name them. Before you recruit, check three things on the pack page: which heroes are in it, when it ends, and whether the heroes fit the lineup you already run. Limited heroes leave when the pack ends, and that is the main reason to decide early.

INFINITE BORDERS Kill

Kill is a matchmade mode. You play matches and finish achievements for Portrait Points. It does not cost Jade, so it is a good use of time on days your alliance has nothing planned.

The season around it

The anniversary lands just after the Oct 9 update (9.1.5), which opened the new season Land of the Rising Dragon and improved Hundred Schools heroes. Season fights and anniversary rewards run side by side, so plan both at once.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• Set your Celebration Card Pack budget in Jade before day one. Look at the limited heroes, pick the one your lineup needs, and stop there.
• Buy Jade in the $49.99 tier if you are topping up for the pack. On the App Store list it gives 3,790 Jade, about 76 per dollar. The other plain Jade tiers sit near 72 per dollar, and the $99.99 tier (7,150 Jade) is slightly lower. Two $49.99 buys give 430 more Jade than one $99.99 buy.
• The $4.99 monthly card (300 Jade on the listing) is worth checking in game if you log in daily for the whole anniversary.
• Leaders: post a daily checklist in alliance chat: login hero quests, Memory Scroll, Auspicious Screen tile. Members who miss the free 5-star hero start the Land of the Rising Dragon fights one strong hero short.
• Leaders: keep season war calls clear of the Kill mode. Kill gives Portrait Points, not territory. Ask members to play it on quiet days.
