Evony Alt Accounts and Family Members Guide (2026)

For Evony players who want a second account to feed their main, and for leaders who use alts for scouting. Checked October 31, 2026.

Short answer: An Evony alt is a second account on your main's server that feeds resources, scouts and holds spare cities. Link your main first, start the alt from Settings, Account, Start New Game, and link it to a different login. Get its Keep to level 25, research gathering, and send resources through your alliance.

Ask any strong Evony player how they keep up with building costs and many will say the same thing: alts. A well run alt sends resources every day, takes the risky scouting jobs and gives your main somewhere to park cities.

Creators are talking about this again in October 2026, this time about family member accounts tied to VIP level. Below is the setup that works, the mistakes that wipe an alt, and what we could and could not confirm about family members.

What an alt is for

The onechilledgamer alt guide calls at least one alt vital for fast progress, especially if you do not spend much. Players use alts to:

• Send resources to the main for troops and buildings.
• Scout and bait in PvP, including Server War.
• Store Subordinate Cities the main does not use yet.
• Give the main easy troop kills for the weekly Monarch event.
• Run dual screen PvP on PC with main and alt side by side.

How to set up an alt without losing anything

1. Link your main first. Settings, Account. Android offers Google or Facebook, iOS offers Apple or Facebook. The guide suggests Facebook on iOS if you also want to play on PC or Mac.
2. Note your server number. It shows on the world map, bottom left.
3. Start the alt. Settings, Account, Start New Game. Pick your main's server and a culture, then finish the tutorial.
4. Link the alt to a different login. Never use the same Google, Apple or Facebook account as your main or another alt. Linking a login that already holds an alt can wipe that alt.

Which culture to pick

Culture gives small permanent bonuses. These are the ones the guide lists:

For a pure resource alt, a production culture fits. China's troop load also helps an alt that gathers a lot.

Switching between accounts

Settings, Account, Switch Account, then pick the login the other account sits on. The game warns that it will load another account. If both accounts are linked, confirming is safe.

Running the alt well

• Keep level 25 first. It opens key upgrades and lowers looting penalties when your main hits the alt.
• Research only gathering and production. Skip combat research on a feeder.
• Fill Subordinate City slots with Korean cities for better gathering, per the guide.
• Join your alliance and rallies. Rally resource boxes add up.
• Watchtower to 25 lets the alt scout enemy troops without risking the main.
• Use a gathering general such as Queen Jindeok.

Family member accounts: what we could confirm

In an October 2026 video, the creator behind Gaming Addicts With Genghis describes family member accounts that open with VIP level: one around VIP 13, two around VIP 15 and more at higher VIP. He says he runs four and estimates 20 to 25 billion of each resource per alt in half a month, and he puts the 9.99 USD Rally Monthly Card on them.

We could not find an official Evony page that confirms these VIP levels or numbers. Treat them as one creator's report and check the VIP screen in your own game. Our VIP guide covers what each level gives.

Mistakes that wipe an alt

• Linking the alt to the same login as the main or another alt.
• Confirming the switch warning before the current account is linked.
• Starting the alt on the wrong server. Check the server number first.
• Buying a ready-made alt. The official Evony Discord bans account trading, and account sales are a common scam. Our scam guide shows the warning signs.

For spenders and alliance leaders

For spenders, an alt changes what is worth buying on the main. If alts cover most of your resource needs, spend on the main for the things alts cannot give: generals, gear and speedups. For leaders, alts are part of how an alliance runs:

1. Count alts in rallies. An alt in a boss rally still adds rewards for everyone.
2. Use alts for scouting. Ask members with Watchtower 25 alts to scout targets before Server War.
3. Set clear rules. Decide when alts may be kicked so mains can farm them, and post the rule so nobody gets surprised.
