Etheria: Restart Anniversary Update (2026): What Is New and Where to Spend

For Etheria: Restart players who want to know what the anniversary season brings and where Hydra Crystals go furthest. Checked November 3, 2026.

Short answer: The Etheria: Restart anniversary version (Pyrite Nyx) launched on September 2, 2026. It added a new SSR Animus, the Awaken Animus Animetry, the seasonal PvE mode Desynced Recursion, Main Story Chapters 11 and 12, new seasonal servers, and season events including a First Top-Up Double Bonus and a cumulative top-up event.

All details come from the official App Store notes for Etheria: Restart by XD, checked on November 3, 2026. The anniversary version and version 2.0.2 both went out around September 2, so both sets of notes are covered.

What the anniversary version added

What version 2.0.2 added

• Extre-Affinity Summon banner: Peacock Lady: Plume (SSR, Disorder affinity) and Crimson Moon: Hizuki Mari (SR, Disorder affinity).
• Hyperlink Gala global event series and new Beginner events.
• A new RTA season, new Shells and new Grim Pursuit stages.
• Restart Time, a returning player event with catch-up rewards.
• Dreamscape event, Prowess Up events, Module Essence bundle shop update and an expanded Summit Arena shop with outfits and frames.

What it means for you

New players and returners have the best start in months. A fresh seasonal server in each region, new Beginner events and Restart Time all point at people coming in now.

PvP players should read the RTA balance notes before investing. Animus and Shell changes can move a team up or down for the whole season.

Disorder teams get two new Animus on the Extre-Affinity Summon banner. If Disorder is already your core, this banner is the one to plan for.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• First Top-Up Double Bonus: it is listed as a season event. Check which Hydra Crystal tiers show the double tag before you buy. Those tiers give the most Crystals per dollar this season.
• Kekker cumulative top-up event: rewards stack with what you spend over the event. If you plan to buy anyway, buy inside that window so the same money also counts toward Kekker.
• Season Pass and Prowess Pass: both were updated for the season. Passes pay off when you buy them early and finish the track. Our best packs and passes guide compares them.
• Disorder banner: save Crystals for Peacock Lady: Plume if your team runs Disorder, instead of pulling on every banner.
• Guild leaders: point new and returning members to the seasonal server and Restart Time first. See our alliance and guild leader page.

Free rewards first
