During District Showdown, alliances explore districts to collect two types of currency: Personal Funds (count toward individual rankings) and Alliance Funds (count toward alliance rankings). Both fund types determine reward tiers and Merit Award distribution.
Alliance Funds can be raided. Other alliances can attack and steal your Alliance Funds during the event. This creates a PvP layer on top of the exploration mechanics — fund protection requires garrison defense and alliance coordination, not just exploration speed.
Occurrences during exploration: District buffs (temporary boosts), District Statues (point bonuses), Street Gangs (combat encounters), and the chance to enter District Alleys — the most valuable reward source in the event. District Alleys contain rare materials including Biochemical Beast rewards, Squad Skin Vouchers, and gem packs.
Mysterious Merchants appear during exploration offering gem packs and rare items. Two Merchants can be active simultaneously. These are worth purchasing when the offered packs align with your current spending priorities.
Warzone tiers: Alliances are matched into Budding, Fearless, Elite, and Apex Warzones based on alliance Might. Higher tiers produce better rewards but face stronger competition. Alliances in lower Warzones whose Might qualifies for higher tiers can directly participate in the corresponding Advanced Warzone.

Exploration Coordination
Systematic exploration beats random wandering. Assign exploration zones to alliance members so the district is covered efficiently without overlap. Alliance Funds are raidable. Set garrison pairings specifically for District Showdown defense. If your server's meta is ranged-rally dominant, swap to Chasey/Victor anti-ranged garrison during the event.
