Grow your channel

Most small channels in strategy games don't stall because of quality. They stall because of the topic. This is what works on YouTube right now, in the order you make a video.

Checklist before you publish

1. The video answers one question people ask.
2. The title warns, compares or promises one thing, with the game at the end.
3. The thumbnail has 2 to 4 big words and one thing to look at.
4. The first 30 seconds say the problem and what they get.
5. Your invite link is in the first lines of the description.
6. You say the disclosure line out loud in the video.
7. Chapters are in, and the pinned comment has one job.

1. Pick the topic

The topic decides the views. We went through the most watched strategy game videos of October 2026. Channels with a few thousand subscribers got tens of thousands of views. Size didn't decide it, the question the video answered did.

The current event. A guide for this week's event, posted before it starts or in its first days. The biggest topic in every game we looked at. A weekly event makes a weekly series.

Stop wasting it. A resource people burn without a plan: speedups, research items, coupons, shards. Tell them what to do instead.

Which is better. Two heroes, two generals, two formations, two rewards. Test it on your account and give a clear answer.

News and leaks. A new season, a new building level, a change the devs announced. Fast and short, then point to your guide.

Skip these. Gameplay with music and no goal, long war footage with no story, and "Day 3" diaries before people know you.

Topic ideas you can adapt to your game

{Event name} explained: what to buy first
Stop wasting {resource}: do this instead
{Hero A} or {Hero B}: which one is worth it
{Formation A} vs {Formation B}: I tested both
I spent {amount} {resource}: here's how much power I got
Beginner guide: my first 7 days, and what I'd do differently
The new season: what changes and what to save for
{Number} mistakes making your account weaker

2. Write the title

Warn, compare or promise one thing. Winning titles start with a warning (Stop, Don't, Mistakes), a choice (X or Y) or a clear result, and carry one specific number when there is one.

Game name at the end. After a line, like "| Evony" or "| Last War". Readable, and it still matches what people search.

Title formats you can copy

STOP Wasting {resource}! Do This Instead | {game}
Don't {do this} Before You Watch This | {game}
{Option A} or {Option B}?! Which Is Better | {game}
{Event name} Guide: Buy THIS First | {game}
I Spent {amount} {resource}. Here's How Much Power I Got | {game}
{Number} Mistakes Making Your Account Weaker | {game}

3. Make the thumbnail

Two to four big words. They add to the title, never repeat all of it. Yellow or white with a thick outline, readable on a phone.

One thing to look at. A hero, a general, an item, or your face reacting. Not a full screenshot of the game.

A number when you have one. A power jump, a troop tier, an amount spent.

Versus for comparisons. Option A left, option B right, VS in the middle.

4. Record

Guides run 8 to 15 minutes. Event run-throughs can be 3 minutes, every week.

The first 30 seconds decide it. Say the problem and what they get by the end. Show the result first if you have one. No long intro.

Use your own account as proof. Before and after, what you spent, what you got. Nobody can copy that.

Say the disclosure line. Out loud, once, in your own voice: "I receive rewards when people order through my Packsify link."

Make it a series and end with the next one. "Part 2" or the same event every week, and point to your next guide on screen.

5. Upload

The first two lines carry the link. Descriptions cut off after two lines. Your invite link goes first, then what the video solves.

Chapters. A timestamp per step. Free, and they help in search.

Test the title and thumbnail. YouTube Studio on desktop lets you test up to three options. YouTube keeps the one people watch longest.

The Packsify link from the video: {your invite link}
Code {your Alliance code} in their app if you're typing it by hand.

{Your question about the video, for example: which one are you picking?}

6. After you post

Send us the link. Your first video can get up to $200 in Packsify credits once it qualifies. Submit your video.

Answer the first comments. Replies bring people back, and a question in the pinned comment starts them.

Ask for a hype. If you're in the YouTube Partner Program with 500 to 500,000 subscribers, viewers can hype a video in its first 7 days. Ask your alliance.

Don't re-upload a flop. It can get flagged as spam. Make a better version with a new title.

Upload time and Shorts count matter less than you think. One better video beats five rushed ones. Only fresh news needs to go out fast.

Where Packsify fits

Plan-your-spend videos. "What I'm buying for the next event and how I order it" is a topic people search, and Packsify fits in it naturally. Say it in your own words, and say it's not instant.

Ready descriptions. More copy, in your own words, on the For creators page.
