For Where Winds Meet collectors who want to understand every acquisition route before spending Echo Beads, missing a limited window, or assuming a vaulted cosmetic is gone forever.
Where Winds Meet has more than 100 outfits in the global version across 17 cosmetic types. Some cost Echo Beads. Some are free. Several are permanently gone. Understanding which route leads to which cosmetic, before you spend or before the window closes, is the difference between a complete collection and a list of regrets.
This WWM guide maps every acquisition route in the current version of the game.
Celestial Echo banner (premium gacha). The highest-tier cosmetics, legendary outfits, mounts, and visual effects, are banner-exclusive. They are only available during the specific banner window they are featured on. When the banner closes, the cosmetic enters the vault. Some return through the Surething Shop. Many do not. For the full pity math and pull routing, see the Where Winds Meet Pity Guide.
Solemn Echo banner (semi-premium gacha). The permanent pull pool featuring non-limited cosmetics. Uses Echo Jade (earnable free currency) rather than Echo Beads. Shares the same 150-pull pity counter as Celestial Echo. The correct approach for serious collectors: build pity on Solemn Echo using free income, then deploy premium Lingering Melodies on Celestial Echo when a desirable banner opens.
Appearances shop (direct purchase). Cosmetics available here require no RNG. You pay the listed Echo Bead price and receive the item. Some Appearances shop inventory is permanent. Some rotates or is time-limited for a specific patch window. Direct purchase is always preferable to gacha when the cosmetic you want is available here. Check this shop on patch day before deciding whether to pull.
Draw Shop (Harmonic Core exchange). Two Harmonic Cores exchange for one Draw Shop item. The Draw Shop inventory rotates with each patch. You cannot predict or plan for what will be available. The correct approach: accumulate Cores as a byproduct of pulling for other cosmetics and exchange when the item you want is available.
Surething Shop (vaulted cosmetics via Battle Pass). Launched in Version 1.6, the Surething Shop is a permanent fixture where previously vaulted event cosmetics reappear for purchase using Surething Feathers. Feathers are earned through the Battle Pass, specifically through Battle Pass Token exchange in the Battle Pass Shop. This is currently the only reliable route to cosmetics from past limited-time events. If you missed a limited outfit during its original event window, check the Surething Shop before assuming it is gone permanently.
Free cosmetics. 48 outfits are currently available at no Echo Bead cost. Sources include campaign quest completion, exploration milestone rewards, boss drops from Campaign challenges, Sect Shops, Season Shop purchases using Trace Jade, and achievement unlocks. New players who complete story content and explore consistently accumulate a meaningful free wardrobe before spending anything.
Across Monthly Pass renewals, banner cycles, Surething Shop purchases, and Appearances shop buys, a serious collector's Echo Bead budget flows through multiple channels every patch.
Packsify routes your Where Winds Meet purchases through official channels more efficiently than buying solo. Same packs, same in-game delivery, same official payment rails.
Yes, through the Surething Shop. Launched in Version 1.6, the Surething Shop is a permanent feature that stocks previously vaulted event cosmetics for purchase using Surething Feathers earned through the Battle Pass. Not every vaulted cosmetic appears there, and the inventory rotates. Check it on patch day before assuming a missed cosmetic is permanently gone.
The Appearances shop sells cosmetics for a direct Echo Bead price with no RNG. What you see is what you get. The Draw Shop accepts Harmonic Cores (a Legendary-tier drop from banner pulls) and exchanges two Cores for one item. The Draw Shop inventory rotates with each patch cycle and cannot be predicted in advance.
Some Appearances shop inventory is permanent and will not rotate out. Some is time-limited for the current patch. Free cosmetics earned through campaign and exploration are permanently available once unlocked. Banner-exclusive cosmetics are limited to their window unless they return through the Surething Shop.
No single fastest route. The correct approach depends on what you are targeting: direct purchases from the Appearances shop for items available there, pity-managed pulls on Celestial Echo for banner exclusives, Surething Shop for vaulted past event cosmetics, and consistent free cosmetic farming through story content and exploration to reduce the number of paid acquisitions needed.
• 5 distinct acquisition routes: Celestial Echo (premium gacha), Solemn Echo (semi-premium), Appearances shop (direct purchase), Draw Shop (Harmonic Core exchange), Surething Shop (vaulted cosmetics via Battle Pass Feathers).
• Direct purchase always beats gacha when the item you want is available in the Appearances shop.
• Surething Shop is the only reliable route to previously vaulted limited event cosmetics. Check it on patch day before pulling.
• Build pity on Solemn Echo using free Echo Jade. Deploy Lingering Melodies on Celestial Echo for banner exclusives only.
• 48 free outfits available through campaign, exploration, and Sect Shops. Complete story content before spending.
• Draw Shop inventory rotates unpredictably. Accumulate Harmonic Cores through pulling, exchange when conditions align.
