Puzzles & Chaos Update Schedule (October 2026): Version History

For Puzzles & Chaos players and alliance leaders who plan their Diamond spending around updates. Checked October 2026.

Short answer: Puzzles & Chaos: Frozen Castle gets a new version about every two weeks. The App Store lists 25 versions from 1.80.00 on November 14, 2025 to 1.103.00 in late October 2026. The release notes only say "content updates and bug fixes", so check the in-game event screen on update day.

The game updates often, and the notes tell you very little. What you can do is read the pattern. A new version lands about every two weeks, so you can plan around it.

Below is the full version list from the App Store listing, what the pattern means, and a short checklist for update day.

Puzzles & Chaos version history

These are the versions listed on the US App Store, newest first. Dates are for the 2026 year unless shown otherwise. The newest version was listed as "2 days ago" when we checked on October 31, so we show it as late October.

How we counted

We took the dates on the listing and counted the days between each version and the one before it. The count runs from November 14, 2025 to about October 29, 2026, which is 349 days. Version 1.100.05 is a point release, so we count only the main steps from 1.80 to 1.103.

What the pattern tells you

• About every two weeks. From 1.80 to 1.103 is 23 main steps in about 349 days. That is one release every 15 days on average.
• Most gaps are 14 to 17 days. The longest gaps in the list are 22 days (between 1.101 and 1.102) and 23 days (between 1.85 and 1.86).
• Some versions are fixes only. 1.100.05 came 10 days after 1.100.00, which looks like a hot fix. Not every version brings new content.
• The notes are generic. Each one says either "Several game content updates and bug fixes" or "Performance improvements and bug fixes". They do not name heroes, events or packs.

The weekday changes too. Recent versions landed on a Wednesday, a Tuesday and a Friday, so do not plan around one fixed day.

Update-day checklist

1. Update the game from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the event screen and the shop. Look for new events and packs there.
3. Check the latest Puzzles & Chaos codes.
4. Ask your alliance chat what changed.
5. Only then decide what to buy.

The game also runs seasonal events. The Google Play event page shows a 3rd Anniversary event with a new Citadel skin and festive ambience. It gives no dates, so we cannot tell you when it ran or when it returns.

For spenders and alliance leaders

• Do not pre-buy for a rumour. The release notes do not name content, so wait for the update to show it in your event screen.
• Keep credits ready. With a release every two weeks, it helps to have credits loaded before update day, so you can buy the moment you see what you need.
