Short answer: The latest Tides of War update, early November 2026, adds the Tactician Arena, mini chat emojis and Selective Receive Mode. Earlier 2026 updates brought the EITC Lure Operation, an Event Calendar, the Tier 25 ship Queen of Serpents, Mermaid Island, Mine Conquest and Animal Companion Awakening.

Tacticians are the theme
Most 2026 updates build on Tacticians: Awakening Collection in summer, Tactician Collection in September, and the Tactician Arena now. If you have been ignoring Tacticians, this is the year they matter.
Alliance changes
Pirate King's Dominion gives buffs to the alliance leader holding Port Royal. The Alliance Lucky Gift Chest now gives random tiered chests. Selective Receive Mode lets you take private chats and mail only from captains you approve, useful for leaders who get spammed.
Late 2025 for context
December 2025 added the advanced flagship Kraken's Wrath with eight cabins and Specialty Research expansion. November 2025 added flagship cabins and a lower flagship unlock level.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Tactician Arena rewards composition: build one full Tactician set before spreading resources.
- Queen of Serpents is the Tier 25 ship: plan Fortress upgrades first, since the cap was raised in the same update.
- Alliance leaders: turn on Selective Receive Mode and use the new Event Calendar to post your event plan for the month.
