Short answer: The big Million Lords change in 2026 is the League and Division system from October: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond leagues now have divisions with promotion and demotion. The year also added Temples and Templars from Silver League, Expedition Gear, the Summer Event, the Three Lands Festival and a Halloween Event.

Leagues and divisions
Version 5.24.0 added divisions to the Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond leagues and a season preview. 5.24.1 launched the full system with promotion and demotion. It also limited how many expeditions can run at the same time, so spamming expeditions is no longer the answer.
Events in 2026
- Summer Event in three parts (July to September): Scouting Grounds, Shifting Expeditions, Expedition Vaults with Silver and Gold Keys, and Sunshards as the event currency.
- Three Lands Festival (September): Festival Tokens, an event shop, 20-stage peaceful expeditions, and returning city skins for the 7th anniversary.
- Halloween Event (October): Pumpkins, Pumpkin keys and Halloween expeditions.
Balance changes worth knowing
March brought a dynamic army demotivation formula and a Salvager skill change to stop gold exploits. May let you upgrade a city by up to 20 levels at once and redesigned the Skill Tree, which is worth a fresh look if you have not reset your talents since.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Climb divisions early in the season. With demotion live, a late push only protects a spot.
- Silver League unlocks Temples and Templars. If you are just under it, that is the best place to spend this season.
- Clan leaders: the expedition cap means members should run their best expeditions, not the most. Share which stages give keys during events.
