Marvel Mystic Mayhem Reroll Guide: How to Start with the Best Heroes

Marvel Mystic Mayhem is a gacha game, but you don’t need to spend to enjoy it. If you don't intend to spend real money, you may want to reroll your summons for a better entry.

The real truth is that rerolling in Marvel Mystic Mayhem can give you a noticeable edge, but only if you know what you're doing. This game doesn’t exactly make it easy…

Unlike other gacha games, Mystic Mayhem doesn’t offer a quick skip, instant re-pull button, or pre-banner reroll. Instead, you’ll need to grind through the early tutorial, unlock the summon banners manually, and know exactly what you’re aiming for before you pull.

So is it worth the time? And who’s actually worth rerolling for?

Let’s break it down…

How to Reroll in Marvel Mystic Mayhem

There’s no instant skip, no built-in reroll system, and no way to shortcut to the banners. You’ll need to play through the early tutorial every single time, unlock summoning manually, and burn the account if your pulls flop. Simple in theory, just time-consuming.

You unlock the gacha system at Team Level 10, and it takes about 20–25 minutes to get there, epending on how fast you move and whether you’re skipping animations (you should be).

Once you’re in, here’s what you’ll have to work with:

  • Around 15 Shadow Keys from missions and First Step rewards
  • About 850 Dreamgems, which you can convert into Great Keys if you want to pull on the limited banner

Shadow Keys go toward the standard Legends Assemble banner, while Great Keys are for the limited-time banner, like Forge the Future (featuring Iron Man).

You’ll get more pulls on the standard banner, usually enough for 10–15 summons total. If you’re rerolling for Iron Man, you’ll only get around 2–4 tries max, so it’s a bit riskier.

Before you do anything, make sure you’re on a Guest account. Don’t link your email or bind your login until you’re happy with your results. Otherwise, resetting is going to be a pain.

Once you've burned your pulls, didn’t land what you wanted, and are ready to reroll:

  • Tap your avatar in the top-left corner
  • Head into Settings
  • Hit “Start New Game”

This wipes your data and starts a brand-new guest account. No need for fake emails or workarounds.

One more thing: during battles, hit the three-line menu and turn off ultimate animations (“Do Not Play”) as early as possible. This saves a surprising amount of time. You’ll ult a lot during the tutorial, and those 10-second cutscenes add up fast.

It’s not the fastest reroll system out there, but if you’re aiming for a strong start, it’s doable. Give yourself 20–25 minutes per attempt, and you’re good to go.

Who Should You Reroll For?

Like most gacha games, Marvel Mystic Mayhem runs on a rarity system: the best characters in the game are 3-star heroes, while 2-star units make up the bulk of your early roster. There’s also a third layer: 1-star Highlights, which are like gear or artifacts, and drop from the same summon pool.

If you're rerolling, your goal is simple: get at least one strong 3-star hero early, preferably someone who can carry your team through the first few chapters and events.

There are two banners you'll be pulling from:

  • The standard banner (more pulls, better for rerolling)
  • The time-limited banner (less pulls, but includes Iron Man)

If you're going for value and consistency, your best targets are on the standard banner.

These are the heroes worth chasing:

Doctor Strange

He’s one of the best support units in the game. He buffs, heals, reduces cooldowns, and scales incredibly well into late-game. He doesn’t do crazy damage, but he makes everyone else stronger. If you get him, you’re off to a fantastic start.

Scarlet Witch

If you want raw DPS, she’s your pick. Her ult can chain into itself if it gets a kill, which means she can wipe waves solo with the right setup. She’s especially good for story and events where fast clears matter.

Juggernaut

He’s a solid early tank with a built-in taunt and a lot of disruption tools. Great if you want more survivability without sacrificing too much damage. Scales well and fits into most team comps.

Emma Frost

Super flexible (part healer, part support), and great at keeping herself alive. She’s also one of the only characters who buffs special damage, which makes her perfect if you plan to build a magic-focused team around Scarlet Witch, Storm, or Mr. Negative.

Thor

Really strong AoE magic DPS. He doesn’t pop off right away, but his damage ramps up as you invest more into him. Great long-term unit if you plan to stick with the game.

Iron Man

He’s on the limited banner, which means you’ll only get 2–4 shots at pulling him per reroll. But if you land him early? He’s worth keeping. Great for physical AoE and burst damage, and he feels good to play even without dupes.

Is Rerolling in Marvel Mystic Mayhem Actually Worth It?

If you're the kind of player who likes to start strong, optimize your team early, and get the most out of free pulls, rerolling can be worth it. Landing someone like Doctor Strange or Scarlet Witch right away makes a noticeable difference in how smooth your early game feels.

But here’s the thing: rerolling in Mystic Mayhem isn’t quick. You’re looking at 20–25 minutes per attempt, and there’s no guarantee you’ll pull who you want. After two or three tries, it might start feeling repetitive, especially since you’ll be running the same tutorial stages every time.

So here’s the honest take:

Reroll if you’re F2P and want to maximize value, or you have a specific hero in mind (and patience to chase them). Skip rerolling if you plan to grab the Dream Pass or spend a little anyway, and you’re fine with using the free units (and upgrading as you go).

At the end of the day, rerolling is a tool, not a requirement. You don’t need a god-tier pull to enjoy the game or make progress. But if you’ve got the time and want the best possible start, it’s totally fair game.

Just don’t burn yourself out before the fun even begins.
