Short answer: Mad Survivor: Arid Warfire had two feature updates in 2026 so far: 1.6.4 on April 27 (rally auto-join troop tiers, Speedups kept with Alliance Help, Imperator rule) and 1.6.5 on June 3 (hero list, rank-up reminders, no per-battle cap on Maniack Vortex scoring). Late 2025 brought a Troop Selection redesign.

What these changes mean in play
The 2026 changes are mostly about alliance play. Rally auto-join now takes higher troop tiers, so a rally leader gets stronger fillers without waiting for members to send by hand. Keeping selected Speedups during Alliance Help removes a small but annoying step when you speed up a build.
The Maniack Vortex change is the biggest for competitive players. Without a per-battle cap, each fight can add more score, so troop strength now decides more of the ranking than the number of fights.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Train and heal your top troop tier before Maniack Vortex. With the per-battle cap gone, each strong fight is worth more.
- Rally leaders: check that auto-join settings include your members' best tiers after the 1.6.4 change.
- Region defenders: the defending Imperator keeps the title on a win, so put shields, healing and troops into the defense before the attack window.
