Short answer: The best value in Last Z for every spender is the two small Gold Bar Store packs each month (the 210% rebate packs, once a month). After that it depends on your budget. Light spenders stop there, mid spenders time packs to events, and big spenders save most by paying a lower price per Gold Bar on the rest.
Below you get the best buys by spender size, the real price per 1,000 Gold Bars everywhere you can buy, why +5% is not 5% off, and a $3,000 a month example.
What is the best value in Last Z for every spender?
The official Gold Bar Store on the Last Z website has two small packs with a 210% rebate, limited to one purchase each per month:
- 1,000 Gold Bars + 1,100 extra for US$10.03
- 2,000 Gold Bars + 2,200 extra for US$20.33
That is about $4.78 and $4.84 per 1,000 Gold Bars, roughly half the in-game rate. Nothing else in the game comes close. If you spend at all, take both every month. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
Best Last Z buys by spender size
| Spender | Monthly budget | Best buys | Skip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free or light | $0 to $30 | The two monthly 210% packs, weekly codes, free event tracks | Big event packs and random draws |
| Mid | $100 to $500 | The two monthly packs, then event packs timed to SvS and big events. Finish what you start | Mid-event impulse buys and half-finished cosmetic targets |
| Big | $1,000 and up | The two monthly packs, then the lowest price per Gold Bar on everything else: deposit ahead, no-fee payment, buy before event windows | Paying the full in-game price on your largest monthly spend |
For mid spenders, timing matters most. Our recharge event guide shows which milestones are worth pulling spend into. For big spenders, the rate per Gold Bar matters most, because a small gap on a large monthly number is real money.
Why +5% is not 5% off
The math box. The official web store adds +5% Gold Bars to its normal packs. That sounds like 5% off, but it is not.
1. A +5% bonus at the same price means you pay for 100 and get 105. Your price per Gold Bar drops by 1 minus 1/1.05, which is just under 5%, not a full 5%.
2. The web store's base price for 10,000 Gold Bars is US$101.37, not the in-game $99.99.
3. Put together: 10,500 Gold Bars for $101.37 is $9.654 per 1,000, against $9.999 in game. That is about 3% under the in-game price.
Price per 1,000 Gold Bars, side by side
| Where you buy | Price per 1,000 Gold Bars | vs in-game | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web store 210% pack (1,000 + 1,100) | $4.78 | about 52% under | Once a month |
| Web store 210% pack (2,000 + 2,200) | $4.84 | about 52% under | Once a month |
| Packsify, largest credit pack | $8.705 | 13% under | None |
| Packsify, standard credit packs | $9.00 | 10% under | None |
| Web store, 10,000 + 500 pack | $9.654 | about 3% under | None |
| In-game store | $9.999 | Base | None |
Packsify works with credits: 10,000 credits equal the in-game value of the $99.99 pack, so one credit is one Gold Bar of value. Packsify buys through the official Apple App Store or Google Play.
Example: $3,000 a month
Say you spend $3,000 a month in game, about 300,000 Gold Bars of value. Here is the same value bought four ways.
| How you buy | Monthly cost | Saving vs in-game |
|---|---|---|
| In-game store | $3,000 | Base |
| Official web store | $2,896 | $104 |
| Packsify, standard rate | $2,700 | $300 |
| Packsify, largest credit pack deposited ahead | $2,612 | $388 |
At the largest credit pack that is about $4,657 a year less than buying in game, and about $285 a month less than the web store. Add the two monthly 210% packs on top and you have the best setup we know of.
How to stack savings with Packsify
After the two monthly packs, three things lower what you pay with Packsify:
- Deposit ahead in a bigger credit pack. Larger credit packs have a lower rate per credit, from 10% under the in-game price up to about 13% at the largest.
- Pay with a no-fee method. Revolut and USDT/USDC have no fee. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay add a fee at checkout.
- Have credits ready before event windows. Then you buy the packs you planned when they appear, not at a rush price on the last day.
