For Foundation: Galactic Frontier players deciding who to build, and for guild leaders who answer this question every week. Checked October 2026.
Short answer: Pocket Gamer's tier list, updated Oct 2 2026 for version 1.1.140, puts Zora Domini, Killer Bee, Ajita and Eva von Trier in S tier. Aliya, Doug Rockwell, Jodie Beart, Kama Moai, Evan Rogers, Cocoon and Lily are A tier. Choose your flagship type first, then build the S tier champion that fits it.

A tier list tells you who is strong. It does not tell you who is strong for your account. Champions work inside a fleet type (Beam, Ion or Kinetic), so the right pick depends on the flagship you already run.
October 2026 champion tier list
This table is the Pocket Gamer list (updated Oct 2 2026, version 1.1.140). Roles are the ones Pocket Gamer gives.

| S | Zora Domini | DPS |
| S | Killer Bee | DPS, heals herself |
| S | Ajita | Support, healing and team buffs |
| S | Eva von Trier | Damage, lowers enemy DEF |
| A | Aliya | Support |
| A | Doug Rockwell | Support |
| A | Jodie Beart | Support |
| A | Kama Moai | DPS |
| A | Evan Rogers | DPS |
| A | Cocoon | Support, also a tank |
| A | Lily | DPS |
| B | Lani Verita | Support |
| B | Riian Dessos | DPS |
| C | Klara, Phade, Lucius Pullo | Not specified |
Fleet types from BlueStacks
Pocket Gamer does not list fleet types. BlueStacks does for the champions it ranks (Jan 2026):
| Champion | Rarity | Fleet type | Role (BlueStacks) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zora Domini | Legendary | Kinetic | Attack |
| Aliya | Legendary | Beam | Attack |
| Jodie Beart | Legendary | Ion | Attack |
| Cocoon | Legendary | Kinetic | Defense |
| Doug Rockwell | Legendary | Beam | Healing |
| Kama Moai | Epic | Ion | Attack |
| Riian Dessos | Epic | Kinetic | Attack |
| Klara | Epic | Beam | Healing |
| Lani Verita | Epic | Kinetic | Attack |
| Phade | Epic | Ion | Support |
| Lucius Pullo | Epic | Beam | Attack |
Killer Bee, Ajita, Eva von Trier, Evan Rogers and Lily are not in the BlueStacks table, so we do not state their fleet type here. Our own guides cover them: the Ajita build and the Evan Rogers build.
Where the two lists disagree
Lists written three months apart will not match. BlueStacks (Jan 2026) has Aliya and Jodie Beart in S tier. Pocket Gamer (Oct 2026) has both in A tier and moves Ajita, Killer Bee and Eva von Trier into S. BlueStacks puts Klara in B tier and Pocket Gamer puts her in C. BlueStacks also describes Aliya as support in the text but lists her as Attack in the table.
What that tells you: tiers move with each version, and the newer list is the safer starting point. We treat any single list as one opinion.
How to use a tier list without wasting resources
- Confirm your flagship type. Champions built for another type do not carry their bonuses over. See the flagship formation guide.
- Pick one S or A tier champion for that type. Put your Universal Crystals and Training Manuals there first. The champion investment guide has the order.
- Keep a healer or support in the team. GamingonPhone calls a healer essential, and names Klara as the early healer (GamingonPhone).
- Do not chase every new champion. A partial build underperforms. One finished champion beats three half-built ones.
Quick picks by budget
This is our read, not a source claim. It uses the Pocket Gamer tiers and the fleet types above.
- Free or low spend: take one A tier champion that matches the flagship you already run and finish it. Klara gives you an early healer.
- Steady spend: choose one S tier champion for your flagship type and put every Training Manual and crystal there until it is done.
- Heavy spend: run one finished champion per role in your main formation. Healing, buffs and damage all need a finished unit.
What did not change
Both lists agree on the basics. Tier is only part of the picture, because a champion needs the right flagship type, a team around it and enough crystals to reach its skills. That is why we keep the build guides next to the list.
For spenders and alliance leaders
- Spend after you choose, not before. A rotation pack for a champion outside your flagship type is wasted. Check the tier and the fleet type first.
- Time pack purchases to the window. Limited champions appear in rotations. Load credits before the window opens, so you decide on the build and not on the payment. The top-up guide shows how.
- Leaders: collect the flagship type of every active member before a war week. Tier lists do not cover fleet balance, and a guild with only Beam is easy to counter. The GvG coordination guide covers it.
- Reroll only early. BlueStacks says to stop once you have a strong carry or support. If you are a long way in, spend on the build, not on a restart.
