For Age of Empires Mobile R4/R5 leaders organizing their alliance for cross-server war.
This guide covers how to coordinate spending, assign roles, and manage all four phases of Mightiest Empire. You'll see how top alliances turn cross-server war into a structured team operation instead of a chaotic sprint. At the end: how spending infrastructure at the alliance level creates collective advantages.
Mightiest Empire unfolds across four phases: Matchmaking, Preparation, War, and Recovery. Each demands different leadership decisions.
Matchmaking (24 hours): Your empire is paired against another server. Leadership should immediately research the opponent: their top alliances, known whale accounts, and activity patterns. The information you gather here shapes your entire strategy.
Preparation: Both empires complete tasks to earn points. The empire with the most points earns the right to invade. As a leader, this is where you coordinate task completion across your alliance. Not every member needs to push every task. Assign roles based on account strength: have your strongest builders focus on power tasks, your resource-rich members push gathering tasks, and your combat-heavy accounts save stamina for the war phase.
War: Governors relocate to the invasion camp and battle for the Imperial City. If the invaders capture it, their king rules both empires. If defenders hold, they maintain control. This phase is pure coordination: rally timing, target selection, reinforcement rotation, and resource management during active combat.
Recovery: Post-war phase where unrecovered units and unclaimed medals are compensated. Leaders should track member losses and help prioritize healing and rebuilding.
Smart alliances align their spending cycles with Mightiest Empire timing. That means identifying when the next ME cycle is likely to land and ensuring members save speedups, resources, and budget for the preparation phase rather than burning everything on routine upgrades weeks before the event. (The same stockpiling approach used for Mightiest Governor applies here at the alliance level.)
Alliance leaders should communicate a "spending hold" period 2-4 weeks before an expected ME cycle. This doesn't mean members stop playing. It means they stockpile rather than consume, so the alliance enters preparation phase with maximum resources available.
See our pack evaluation guide for which purchases to prioritize when the hold ends.
Not every whale account should do the same thing during Mightiest Empire. Effective alliances assign roles:
Rally leaders: Your highest-power combat accounts with maxed hero pairings. These players should be investing in combat skills, troops, and healing resources in the weeks before ME.
Reinforcement fillers: Strong accounts that may not lead rallies but provide critical troop reinforcement. Their spending should prioritize troop training, hospital capacity, and minimum gear standards.
Point pushers (Preparation phase): Members with high resource production and building queues who can generate maximum preparation points. Their spending should target speedups and resource generation.
Scouts and intelligence: Active members who monitor enemy movements during the war phase. They don't need heavy spending investment, but they need to be online and communicating consistently.
The cross-border chat in Age of Empires Mobile is useful for trash talk but not for coordination. Serious alliances run their ME coordination through Discord or similar platforms where you can have separate channels for rally calls, intel updates, member status, and leader decisions. If your alliance doesn't have this set up before ME starts, you're going to lose coordination at the worst possible moment.
During the war phase, leaders face continuous real-time decisions: where to rally, when to reinforce, when to retreat and regroup. The alliances that win are usually the ones that make these decisions faster and cleaner, not necessarily the ones with the most power.
Build a simple decision tree before the war starts. Define primary targets, fallback targets, retreat triggers, and rally refresh timing. Share it with your officers so decisions can be made even if the top leader is temporarily offline. The worst thing that happens during an ME war is a power vacuum where nobody knows who's calling the next rally.
Mightiest Empire is where alliance-level spending coordination creates the most visible impact. When your top spenders have their budgets aligned, their accounts prepared, and their spending timed to maximize pre-event power, the entire empire benefits. But if your members are losing value to platform overhead on every purchase, that's a collective inefficiency that weakens the whole operation.
For alliance leaders managing members who spend $1,000+ monthly, the infrastructure behind those purchases matters. Delays, friction, or payment issues during a critical preparation window can leave your strongest accounts underpowered at the worst time.
Packsify routes your purchases through official channels in a more efficient way than buying solo. Same packs, same in-game delivery, same official payment rails. The difference is that your monthly budget produces more actual power without changing how or where you play.
This isn't a coupon or a workaround. It's a system built for players who treat their accounts as long-term assets and want the infrastructure behind their spending to match.

This isn't a general chat. It's where leaders whose spending decisions affect entire alliances share strategies, coordinate across servers, and connect with players operating at the same level.
When your entire alliance's spending runs through efficient infrastructure, the collective advantage compounds.
