We’re hiring a Head of Finance & Compliance to build the systems that keep Packsify profitable, compliant, and ready to scale.

Role

This role is about turning messy finance and compliance processes into simple, scalable systems. You’ll own cash flow, billing, tax, and contracts - making sure we have clarity on money, safety in compliance, and discipline in spending.

Your job is to forecast, close, and report with accuracy, reduce churn and failed payments, and centralize legal and regulatory obligations. You’ll coach others, work with accountants and lawyers, and give leadership the dashboards they need to make smart decisions.

Responsibilities

Finance & Cash Flow: Deliver weekly forecasts, monthly closes, budgets, and spend policies.

Billing & Payments: Improve billing mechanics, reduce churn and failed payments, collect more upfront cash.

Tax & Compliance: Manage filings, VAT/DST, and deadlines across regions.

Legal Ops: Centralize contracts, set standard terms, manage trademarks, escalate risks.

Cost Discipline: Audit vendors, renegotiate contracts, enforce spend rules.

Risk & Controls: Implement privacy, AML/KYC, and audit systems.

Team & Reporting: Coach a junior admin and deliver dashboards to leadership.

Results

Monthly closes on time; weekly cash forecasts accurate.

Billing runs smoothly: fewer failures, lower churn, more cash in.

Taxes filed on time, no surprises.

Contracts standardized, risks logged early, disputes minimal.

Vendor costs reduced, terms improved.

Compliance meets standards (GDPR, AML/KYC) and is documented.

Finance/legal dashboards give leadership clean visibility.

Requirements

5–8+ years in startup finance, compliance, or operations (FinOps/RevOps or similar).

Strong grasp of global payments, billing, and SaaS/service metrics.

Direct experience working with accountants and lawyers.

Proven builder: implemented tools, SOPs, workflows, not just reporting.

Track record managing cash flow, reducing churn, and improving margins.

Comfortable leading a small team and working cross-functionally.

Familiarity with AML/KYC and compliance systems.
Vendor negotiation and contract management track record.
Hands-on with dashboards and reporting tools.

Remote, with overlap in European time zones.

Competitive base salary: $25k–$40k + performance bonus.
