Community & Partner Manager

Own our Discord communities and our Alliance Dashboard. A hands on owner role for someone who wants to build the engine, not just run the room.

Packsify is the trusted way for serious mobile strategy players to top up. Our players put a lot into the games they love, and we help them top up safely, get more value for their money, and never worry about whether a purchase will go wrong. Behind it are real people they can actually talk to, who treat them and their alliance like partners. Small, steady, fully remote team.

Our promise to players is simple: keep them safe, give them real value, and treat them with respect. Everything we build has to live up to that, including this role.

Here is the part that makes this different from most community jobs. Mobile strategy games run on alliances: fifty to a hundred players who fight together every day, talk every day, and trust each other far more than they trust any brand. We are building the system that lets a whole alliance get more out of Packsify together instead of one player at a time. It is called the Alliance Dashboard, it is launching right now, and this role owns it together with the communities it lives in.

Packsify has been around for five years and is profitable. This part of it is brand new. If you like joining something proven and building the new part of it yourself, that is exactly this seat.

Role

This role exists to make two things more valuable for our players: our Discord communities and our Alliance Dashboard - partner program. You own both. That is the whole job.

To be clear about what this is not: this is not the head of marketing, and it is not the lead of our growth team. You will not manage a team or set company strategy. You go narrow and deep on two areas, the community and the partners, and you own the results on both. You work next to our growth and content people, not above them.

You will:

  • Grow our two Discord communities, Play Smarter (open to every player) and Prestige Club (for our most committed members), into places players genuinely want to be, where they get help, share wins, and get more out of their game.
  • Grow the Alliance Dashboard, our program that helps whole alliances top up safely, get more value, and share rewards together. It also includes Elite partners with top content creators and community owners.

The thread through both: real value for players and alliances, and genuine care for the people who hold their communities together. This is a hands on operator role. You will be in Discord every day, talking with players and leaders, running events, and paying attention to what actually helps. Not a make the deck marketing manager.

One honest filter before you read further. If the interesting part of this for you is finding partners, working out which deals actually work, and building a program that runs across games, you will enjoy this. If the interesting part is mainly moderating and posting, you will find this role heavier than you expect.

And to be direct about the shape of it: for at least the first twelve months this is an individual contributor role. You will be the one in the DMs with alliance leaders and creators, running the events, and chasing the first orders through a new code. There is room to grow as the company grows, but if you are looking to manage a team instead of doing the work, this is not the seat.

You would report to our Growth Lead and work closely with our founder, who owns the strategy and the economics of this program today. Once you are up to speed, we expect you to bring us your own plans rather than wait for tasks.

What is the Alliance Dashboard?

The Alliance Dashboard is how a whole alliance gets the most out of Packsify together, not just one person. When an alliance tops up through it, everyone is better off: the same safe service and real people behind it, more value for everyone's money, and rewards the whole alliance picks up along the way. Leaders can even gift credits to their members to say thanks for carrying the team.

Alliance leaders, creators, and community owners are the ones who bring their people in, using their own Alliance code, and yes, they earn for it too. But this is not one person taking a cut. It is the whole alliance leveling up together, safely and fairly. We run it like a real partnership, calm and clean, the way our players expect.

Where it stands today: alliances and creators are our main growth channel, our Elite partners have been with us for a long time, and there is already a waitlist of alliances for the dashboard. So you are not starting from a blank page. You are taking something with real demand behind it and making it work at scale.

Responsibilities

Grow the Discord communities the right way

  • Run our two Discord communities day to day, and keep them genuinely useful and worth showing up to.
  • Grow them organically, by making them more valuable, not with giveaways and gimmicks. We already have a real community in there, and the goal is a much bigger one that players actually want to be part of.
  • Plan and run events that give players and alliances real value: readiness sessions before big in game events, strategy and Q&A sessions, and safe top up help. Not random giveaways.
  • Make it easy and natural for players to bring their alliance in, get quick answers, and feel at home.
  • Build recognition into the community, so the members who help everyone else have a reason to keep doing it.

Grow the Alliance Dashboard

  • Find and welcome new partners: alliance leaders, smaller creators, and community owners in the top 4X games.
  • Our niche is built on small and mid sized creators rather than big names. This is about building real depth with dozens of partners, not betting everything on one famous account. If you have run that kind of program before, you will recognise the shape of it.
  • Help them get set up fast, and help their whole alliance get real value from it.
  • Keep track of how partners are doing, so you can spot who is ready for more support and bigger opportunities, and who is quietly going inactive.
  • Watch the health of the program and flag what you see: what is working, what is not, and where people try to game it. The structure and the economics are set together with our founder and COO, and your read from the ground is a big part of that decision.
  • Help us work out how we show up in games where nobody knows us yet.

A note on scope, so nothing is a surprise later: you own the program, not the product. The screens, the visuals and the design work sit with someone else. You bring the requirements, the partner feedback and the priorities into that work.

Support our creators and top partners

  • Work closely with our existing creators and biggest alliances so they always have campaigns that fit their style.
  • Be their first point of contact for growth questions in Discord and DMs.
  • Sit in on the deals. For the first two quarters the final terms on our biggest partner deals are agreed together with our founder, because these decisions carry real weight and you should have the full picture before carrying that on your own.

Turn real wins into stories

  • Work with our content lead to celebrate real reviews, wins, and player stories, and turn them into posts and messages partners can share.
  • Run simple community campaigns and recognition, like collecting best event stories or spotlighting a standout alliance.

Results

By the end of your first 90 days, you will have:

  • Helped our existing Elite partners settle into the dashboard and get comfortable with how it works.
  • Brought a healthy number of new alliance leaders and small creators into the program, live with their own codes and actually promoting.
  • Seen real first orders come through those codes, and know which partners are working and which are not.
  • Run Discord events that players actually show up to, in both Play Smarter and Prestige Club.
  • Made both communities feel alive and genuinely useful, with a clear view of what is working.

Requirements

Must haves

  • You have personally owned growth and engagement for a community, not just moderated it. You planned the events, the campaigns and the announcements. You did not just delete spam.
  • You have built or substantially shaped a creator, affiliate, ambassador or partner program. If you ran one that somebody else designed, tell us what you changed about it and why.
  • You have worked directly with creators, streamers, guild or alliance leaders, or partners: outreach, communication, and tracking what actually worked.
  • You are comfortable with numbers enough to know whether a partnership is worth it, and willing to say so when it is not, including to us.
  • You are comfortable living in DMs and voice chat with players and community leaders.
  • Strong written English. You can write an announcement or a DM that sounds like a real person, not a press release.

Nice to have

  • You play or have played 4X or strategy games and understand alliance culture.
  • You have run or improved a referral, affiliate, or partner code program before.
  • You have worked with small and mid sized creators rather than only big names.

This role is not for you if

  • You have only done corporate social media calendars and content posting.
  • You have never owned growth for a community yourself.
  • You are happiest buying paid ads or running performance campaigns. This role is community and partnerships, not paid media.
  • You want to do strategy from a distance and stay out of the day to day with players.
  • You are looking for a head of marketing or head of growth title with a team to manage. This is a hands on owner role, and you run these two areas yourself.

Location & compensation

  • Real ownership of two areas that matter to the business, with the freedom to run them your way.
  • A long-term seat with room to grow. As Packsify grows, the person who owns the community today is best placed to own more tomorrow.
  • A small, steady, fully remote team that trusts you and moves fast, with very little hand holding. We work across time zones, and this role needs at least four hours of overlap with European hours.
  • Direct impact you can see, since the community and partners you grow show up in the numbers.
  • Players and partners who genuinely care about what we do, not a faceless audience.
  • Results, not hours. No fixed schedule, time off without counting days, sick days paid in full, and a monthly budget for anything that makes you better at what you do.
  • Full transparency. You see the company's real numbers, including monthly profit and loss, because you cannot own a channel blind.

On pay: we keep it fair, and we are happy to talk about it early and openly. We ask for your expectation in the application so neither side spends hours before we know we are close. There is also a quarterly bonus tied to results in your own area, and we go through how it works before any offer.
